What are we to say about how the divine eye sees our world or we may see the divine world in comparison to our own. This thought inspired a more surreal feel to the finished product. He was so shy and kept flying across the lake. They were here at the city park during fall migration. They are not tame but truly wild ducks taking a quick break before traveling again. I was amazed to see them at the city lake were people walk all the time because of the fact they normally do not like to be near people. The only other times I have seen them is in more secluded areas and they always flew away before I was even close. I sat very still for over two hours and finally this wood duck drake swam close enough for me to get a great shot of him. This male Humpback was in full song voice for his mate off the N.W. coast of Mexico… I had mabie 20 minutes of him dancing before me with in 30 feet or so then wooshhh… he was gone.. Perhaps he had found her aye…? Anyway.. gonna be posting more of them along with other various wildlife species from this area to make a calender with so I certainly do not expect comments left on them all.. but.. if you see one you like alot… please let me know to help select their order of sequence… If you wish to listen to him sing too… that would be Here Nikon D60 55~ 200 ~ ... / Resizing always avail… Thanks for cking him out… :)

(Self Portrait) This is one of the first SP’s i produced… I wanted to see if i could incorporate water into the SP.. I had a lot of fun trying to get this shot….. A few tweaks in CS3 and Lightroom and a little cropping finished the image.

Here is a re-worked image of my little girl and my husband which was on RB a while ago.. I keep coming back to it so finally decided to play with it and here it is… I originally had this image in colour but got some great advice from a fellow bubbler to try it in b&w so I did…... This image was taken when my little girl fell over on the rocks and hurt her knees and her daddy gave her a piggy back to the car before the storm came.
