The complete and real title is : “Poupée – InnerSelf”. I asked to myself : Stars… They bright the sky, our eyes, our mind & soul. They are inside of us. We always look for them, for these glimpses of lights and happiness. / Do we really know ourselves? / Do we realize that we have all of this inside of us? / What are we in fact? / As we don’t really look in the correct place, we don’t really know ourselves i decided to ‘almost’ delete the face. He was so shy and kept flying across the lake. They were here at the city park during fall migration. They are not tame but truly wild ducks taking a quick break before traveling again. I was amazed to see them at the city lake were people walk all the time because of the fact they normally do not like to be near people. The only other times I have seen them is in more secluded areas and they always flew away before I was even close. I sat very still for over two hours and finally this wood duck drake swam close enough for me to get a great shot of him. I am so thankful for that wonderful day. / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Let’s help keep our waterways clean and protected. This male Humpback was in full song voice for his mate off the N.W. coast of Mexico… I had mabie 20 minutes of him dancing before me with in 30 feet or so then wooshhh… he was gone.. Perhaps he had found her aye…? Anyway.. gonna be posting more of them along with other various wildlife species from this area to make a calender with so I certainly do not expect comments left on them all.. but.. if you see one you like alot… please let me know to help select their order of sequence… If you wish to listen to him sing too… that would be Here Nikon D60 55~ 200 ~ ... / Resizing always avail… Thanks for cking him out… :)

It was getting a little late when this male cardinal came in to feed. As usual, he flew in deep in the pine tree to check out the feeder area before venturing out into the open. Along with the low light and the darkness in the pine tree, I decided to take this shot. I love the results, I love the exposure. /
