Some men look so good in makeup I wonder why wearing it ever fell out of fashion. I never felt it detracted in any way from their natural attractiveness and masculinity, and yet modern western views are quite black and white on the issue as a whole. Acrylic on Acrylic board. By Kyle Bultman, aged 11. Exploring acrylic painting with some of my students. Kyle used an online image as reference. I helped him with details, as he is just starting out in drawing and painting. In painting the image, we followed a very exacting regime, essentially adopting/adapting the ‘Flemish’ technique as closely as possible. A bit ambitious perhaps, but the students are ‘learning’ and the technique seemed to require less ‘tidying up’ and fixing. The painting in progress/ grey toned ‘underpainting’: Finished

What is it is about dragonflies that is so fascinating and magical… / i mean, i like butterflies, definitely, they’re obviously pretty and all, but dragonflies, well, i love… especially when they hover, little hyperactive observers, busy with mysterious urgent business… impossible to follow… unless they want to be… Model: fetish_faery / Other stock by resurgere and adaae (deviantart)
