The magazine is launching this Friday in Paddington, so I might scoot along to pick up a copy. I also contributed my pretty face drawing and some hand lettering for the fashion editorial. Check out MAGS” fantastic portfolio / Her images speak for itself. She is a fantastic wildlife photographer. Your first question; how does being a creative person and pursuing your creativity affect other aspects of your life: My everyday life involves a great deal of landscaping, nurseries where I grow peppers, chilies and flowers. My rose garden and then of course the horses, and all the wild animals on the game farm (1400 hectares). When I say “wild animals” I mean free roaming and not fenced in. We have to do daily checks on the game fences and all the water points. / Loving photography the way I do, this brings with many opportunities for great and unusual shoots. A creative eye is always on the look out for that something special in every little thing that comes its way. / I never leave the house without my camera, its just part of me! / My personal life….. When I get the opportunity I download my shoots at the end of the day, that sometimes takes hours as I also try and fit my RB sessions in as well ! Must admit my hubby does get upset with me at times as he needs time with me as well, but he understands. / Being creative is wonderful, a blessing that I thank the Lord for everyday; I couldn’t be that, without Him. / My greatest joy is when my work is enjoyed, and then I know that I succeeded in trying to show through my eyes where I found wonder and beauty. Your second question: Tell us about one person or moment that has made your time on redbubble particularly special or meaningful; / Meaningful moments at redbubble are there for all of us everyday as there are so many wonderful and helpful fellow redbubblers. I knew nothing when I joined redbubble, could not and did not how and where to go to post writing in a journal! I don’t want to name as I might just have a list from A to Z! Friends at RB taught me all I know now, that includes improving on my images and I will always be thankful to them for that. / A very special and meaningful moment was my first card-sale. I will never forget the excitement and inspiration it gave me! “The way home…” and “Handprintz”! Thank you again Handprintz, you made my day very special! Your third question; Show and tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you; This is a very difficult question to answer! / Every redbubbler is a wonderful and talented artist in their own way. I think the problem is that the underexposed artist does not get the exposure they should. By now we know all the A’s and B’s who gets the exposure all the time. There work is stunning they are we are only dreaming of being one day. / There are so many wonderful and beautiful works on redbubble and I see the beauty in every image with an eye that look past the perfect and technical aspects. To me every image tells a story, I don’t need a perfect creation or image to enjoy the message or story that it brings through. / To me, all works on redbubble evokes emotion in its own way, and that is an inspiration for me. / I Thank all fellow redbubblers for their inspiration and help and I just want to say; “Follow your dream, don’t give up, photography has many ways of fulfillment”

So I opened an account with JPG Mag because I think it’s a great idea and there can be no harm done with the extra exposure by being a member. The opportunity to get published and even get some money for doing so is another great incentive that RB members should take advantage. The next magazine issue will be publishing a nighttime theme, a delectable theme, and a faith theme. I’ve entered my Electric Opera photograph as a candidate for the nighttime theme and have had a great response thusfar. Entries and voting close in 34 days which I think is on October the 7th 2008, so I urge you to check out my entry and place a vote if you see my image as fitting and worthy of being published in the nighttime theme. You may Vote Here and if you are a member, or are considering to become one, drop me a line and add me as a contact so we can rock the JPG party together! I know the talent pool on RedBubble is enormous, so spread the good news and let’s start a riot on JPG. Remember, birds of a feather flock together (I think that’s how the saying goes)... so enter your images and get voting for one another, and don’t forget to add your RB link to your ‘about me’ page.
