photoshop photos, PS brushes and model is (by) me / working with many layers of different transparencies and blending modes and six photos (all my own) + painting and smudging to make the ears and to attach the wings to the body. the orbs were painted and reflections added and distorted with the liquify filter.

science in the eyes of an artist, or art in the eyes of a scientist? these are filters I used for filtering fine suspended matter out of sediment pore-water, the different colours come from various stages of the filtering process (different intensity) and from different water-samples. As I was working late in the lab the other night I thought, hey those filters are really pretty so I arranged them on a piece of paper and took some pictures ;-) hmm, again the RB-preview is looking quite zig-zaggy, see below for correct viewing /
