this is a commission I received from someone who wanted a Stonehenge picture without anyone in it… / here’s the result. Hope it’s alright… / So everyone is aware – this is a photomanipulation – not an actual photo that I took…. / I manipulated sky, grass, clouds, colors…. :) to give it a fantasy feel… Peace, Claudia
Amazingly there are 20 species of Magpie in the world. Not quite sure which I have painted here… looks more like an Australian magpie Many people consider them superstitious, they certainly have their place in folklore, some believe they bring good luck, others believe bad. I remember being played Rossini’s Thriving Magpie when I was quite young; it is said they have a panache for shiny, silvery things which they like to steal and hide. / Here the magpie has found a key! I wonder where it came from? I see him as a ‘Keeper of Secrets’. / The selected text comes from a traditional rhyme I was told as a child: One for sorrow, Two for joy, / Three for a girl, Four for a boy, / Five for Silver, Six for Gold / Seven for a secret never to be told This is an acrylic painting on canvas.
The Magi (artist) as he views the world conjuring art from dreams. The original painting is on 20” x 20” canvas. Visit my Online Art Gallery
I have always wanted to create a black unicorn….they are always portrayed to be evil, but I think they are beautiful and majestic…they come to me in my dreams so vividly….I thought Night Wish a fitting name….even though its the name of my favorite band….but it just fits….so here he is, my night wish granted…and that is why I like the name midnight dreamer…..
Pendle Witch Country, in the Lancashire Pennines, is an area lying between (but also including) the north western edge of Bronte Country and the Ribble Valley, to the north and north east of which are Bowland, and the south western Yorkshire Dales respectively. The area is dominated by the dark brooding mass of Pendle Hill (shown above) and made famous (nay infamous) for its grim and fiendish association with the “Witches of Pendle”...
A pattern combining the Merkaba (the invisible energy field in the form of a 3-dimensional star tetrahedron, that surrounds all living things, and is the Light vehicle in which we can Astral travel) overlaid with the Flower of Life and the six-pointed star (hexagram representing the Hermetic maxim of “As Above, So Below”)

I came upon this as I wandered in the forest in the full moon on a Spring night. There had been a great battle here in ancient times and this was all that remained of one of the brave Elvin warriors. Hope he is at peace.

I am a purist with my photographs. I leave them untouched, after initial RAW developing but once I decide to use them for a creative design purpose all bets are off. I have created this series of woodcuts for a more stylized look at flowers.
