I warmly welcome you to walk through my soul via this black and white video of my self-portraits, music, artography, video clips and the spoken word. It includes new pictures, previously unpublished pictures and candid shots. About this Video: / Creating my first little art video has been a hard labor of love. It reconnected me with my passion for composing music and it feels good to express myself in this new, multi-media format. It is so personal. From the deepest depths of my heart and soul to yours…. Black and White Emotions Desperation leads to inspiration… / I wanted to create a video, all i had was Windows Movie Maker. I was determined to make that program work for me! LOL For the music i had a digital voice recorder, a 5 Octave electronic keyboard and some sound effects. Mixed it using my Windows Sound Recorder. That was a l little tricky, lol, but i made it work! Proof positive that creativity can make up for, what one lacks, in resources :). experience FEEL c o n n e c t / XO / jaeda :) /

Pleased to say I have had my first feature of the month thanks to the good folks at the North East England group. They featured my image, ‘The Courtyard’ from my Chillingham Castle series. Thank you. I have had quite a few features over the past couple of weeks, mainly of castles – they seem to be going down well I am pleased to say. December 3rd and the fine people at Castle Magic decided to feature two of my images together I am delighted to say. I am chuffed that a group with such fine images are enjoying my own enough to feature. Thank you. Gateway to the Castle / Steps to the Castle / December 5th and another castle feature on the Castle Magic group – thanks again :) Chillingham Castle Courtyard / I’ve now had my first double-featured image I am pleased to say, The Courtyard, as seen above, also now featured in Castle Magic :) December 9th and another nod-of-the-head to my Chillingham Castle series from Castle Magic. I feel very privileged that they enjoy my work. Featured, ‘The Chillingham Bat’: / and another…. Knight & Gargoyle / UNBELIEVABLE!!! I have just minutes ago uploaded an image titled Spooky Woods and in under three minutes it was featured in Black and White Photographers Showcase. I am delighted! Winter is a magical time to shoot… A time when the ordinary and unremarkable become transformed by frost, ice, snow, and refractive light. Structure and form is revealed in ice. The geometry of the mundane is suddenly revealed in exquisite outlines of crystal frost. Muddy or turbid colors vibrate and glow against contrasting icy winter whites. Boring green weeds become wondrous and dramatic frosted etchings. Morning is the best time to capture winter’s cold handiwork. Before the sun melts the delicate crystalline coatings that form their picturesque pieces on window panes, the ground flow, and dead remnants of fall’s desiduous shedding.
