There’s a place I go, inside myself, / Where nobody else can be, / And none of my friends can tell it’s there— / Nobody knows but me. This is my enchanted tree of love. / The original was drawn with a black inky pen on my visual diary. / Took me two days to draw – during one class time and during church. / Haven’t figured out how I should compose it as a image. / But here it is as a new tee… so I can buy it… you can too if you want…

This was a beautiful place to be – when the children were there is became magical – every door opened wasn’t a garden it was the secret garden and we had to look for lepricorns and fairies and smell every flower and describe every tree.

Everytime I was washing the dishes in front of my window I kept looking at that fantastic scene .The snow had covered all the roof and at the same time my window ,it was completely dark ,until the snow began to melt .What a sight but I had to remove the icy snow with my hand and push inch by inch the window to open enough so I could go through the small window and take some shot .You should have seen me ,all wet and very happy of my idea. / I called it «communion» because ,at first the two icesticks were just one and melted until they got separated but it looks like they are reaching to get together again.The drop is the communion between them,a« metaphore» but for me it was magical.It’s like the time is suspended…..an untouched pic… / / /

MEDIEVAL MAIDENS A Celebration of Motherhood and the Devine / I drew this work when my son was quite young (he is now 16-2008) / I was experimenting with different patterns and pen work, so it is quite sketchy. / It kind of evolved into something that looks Medieval somehow. / The Hare is one of my magical creatures that I feel familiar with- Hares, Bears and Cats. Infra red image of an ancient Oak tree hidden in the valley of the White Leaved Oak, Malvern Hills, England. The tree is thought to be about 1,500 years old and grew from an acorn of a true albino oak which is said to have grown in the area many hundreds of years ago. The Oak is located on the site of ancient earth works and is comonly thought of as being once an ancient place of worship for the Celts and Druids. It is still visited today by local Pagans and Witches and often decorated with offerings of ribbons and crystals.

Hylonome the centauress at play with Cyllarus…sort of catch me if you can;) / / Hylonome was the wife of Cyllarus centaur in Greek Mythology. / Her name means “browser of the wood” When Cyllarus was killed, Hylonome unable to bear the grief, threw herself down onto the same spear that had killed her beloved. pencil on paper drawing – image size: 30” wide x 22” high (ORIGINAL SOLD) The title is a play on the word and the physicality of the drawing itself. If you turn this drawing on each side, and upside down, you will see the same face looking at you. (All ways) It also is a memorial – to commemorate some friends and family in my life who passed on but who I’ll remember and want noted for “always”. There are names in the trees and bark, and there is even a tiny little poem in the grass. Good luck finding it. I can only when looking at the original. It says: “The purpose of love and art are the same – to stop the clock.” (You can see the original framed drawing on the wall behind me at one of my solo shows a few years ago.) / AND, now available as a mug at Zazzle: / Always mug /

It spent a number of years touring Australia in Damian Michael’s Visionary Art Exhibition – hanging next to H.R. Giger, Laurie Lipton, Alex Grey and many other “fantastic”/visionary artists. This was drawn during a difficult phase of my life – but one of ultimate growth. It’s been very interesting to hear the many interpretations this drawing has provoked in viewers. I had someone ask me once if this was a female crucifixion scene. (no!) I was trying to say A LOT at that time in my life but felt I was mute in the world. So I decided to draw it instead.
