I think I’m going to make a seasonal series, with Autumn Fire being the first, even though I didn’t know it was a series when I made that one. / This is, obviously, winter…. also obviously, it’s somewhere that isn’t HERE. sigh / (I’m in Florida, living vicariously through the stormy ice sorceress…. lol)

Just a funny idea I had after reading Dr Seus’s book “One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish” for the first time in ages and playing Final Fantasy III. Heh, I’ll admit it’s not my best, but a friend asked me to put it up.

mixed media collage on canvas / I created this one with my granddaughter katie who was here last week for the school holidays. / we added inspirational thoughts and collaged lots of buttons sequins glitter wooden letters papers and sectioned each one with purple ribbon and buttons we had a great time creating this as she loves to make art just as much as me and she is only 10 years old and has lots of potential I think (biased) this original is a keeper though and is not for sale but i will be uploading each section individually which you can purchase as cards n prints etc…...... mixed media on wood 30×23 x 5 (12×9 x 2”) I was given this big thick chunk of wood so I created star of the sea using acrylic paint and pencils permanent markers and glued gold star sequins that I found at the op shop I painted the sides black and finished of with varnish,I have attached a hanger at the back or it could just sit on a mantle or bookshelf.
