  • This style is not my cup of tea, but friends told me to put it on so, here she is. Conte Crayon on paper.

  • Another from the series- ominous words.

  • drawing of a model from ralph magazine great presence and composure

  • Magazine rack as found in Barcelona airport obviously just after the wedding illustrated. You can tell that the guy in European business is much more interested in the attractive Australian chick rather than the American dwarf and deluded possibly brainwashed girlfriend who are just out of frame in this picture but also were very interested in the magazine covers. Works as a wondeful card to just divorced re-married couples or for civil partnerships. In fact just about any occassion. Buy loads and see if Tom wants to sue me.

  • Another compilation with Charles Winslow. / http://www.redbubble.com/people/winslow357 / All my photography, with the Winslow “touch”

I have just found out that my image ‘Carousel’ will be published in Photographer’s Forum Magazine’s ‘Best of Photography 2008’ book. As you can imagine I am thrilled to have been selected. I just want to thank the Redbubble community once again for all your support and inspiration – without you I wouldn’t have come this far. Take care Debxx

  • My take on the avator series…. other characters who can also use these abilities too. The water version took about 3 1/2 hours to do but came out fantastic as well, this here is more on a fantasy type of illustration. This also was based on a dream which is also perfect for me to have created this.

  • This is my 7 year old son humoring me with the famous dance from Risky Business with Tom Cruise. Sorry no fire poker, so we used this. I hope you enjoy.

  • My own nouveau style of poster as a composite. / The starting point was an original oil pastel drawing commenting on magazine women. Somehow it reminded me of Angelina Jolie, not just a glossy image. A woman right there making people think about refugees and other events, not just the usual on beauty secrets. Hopefully women’s magazines will change their frontline stories so women can speak in different voice about reality. There are fires and no water on hand to fight them, a story from yesterday. People have lost their homes and temperatures have never been so high since records began. Four days of over 40 degreee heat. It is so hot train tracks are buckling and public transport systems are in chaos. / / The art influences are many and make up a pastiche of Art Nouveau, Art Deco and Pop Art; all reflective of a life style and culture from respective eras. Posters in particular mark the growth of a new attention to design and graphic detail. / Today with digital imaging these bold and essentially decorative periods have been revived in various forms. The fonts of Art Nouveau, the Pop Art benda dots of Lichtenstein, the celebrity portraits of Andy Warhol, the abstract simplicity, posterization and text across the page of bold Art Deco, and, all together in a contemporary context with the passion and heart of a Remodernist, not by accident but by intent! Words that may at first appear light and playful but which are serious beyond ‘form following function’. In a way the employment of these earlier styles in whatever combination is Retro, because they are all old styles with futuristic features promoting design strength, ideas and evolving visual experiment. / The tools at the hand to morph styles in Photoshop are amazing. I hope the digitization of an image does not disqualify me as a traditional fine artist style painter!

  • Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale jetting out of the 2009 Vanity Fair Party on Feb 22, 2009. I love Gwen and the music rocks and Gavin is one hot ticket! Actually they both are :) Shot with Canon 40D 70-200 L Series 430 Ex flash.

Actually it all started back in June, while I was still in school. A writer for the Montreal magazine Plaisirs de Vivre/Living with Style just happened to come across my bubble and was particularly interested in my origami. She got in touch with me proposing to publish my origami in their next magazine (which is out now), and said she would send me a pdf once the magazine is published. I have been eagerly waiting for her e-mail, which has finally arrived. Actually she sent it last week, but for some reason I wasn’t notified about it; I had been communicating with her using a different e-mail address than my usual, which is supposed to automatically forward everything to my usual e-mail address, which it didn’t this time. But today I checked that other e-mail address and there was her e-mail with her pdfs… sent last week :P You can see my work on the bottom right corner of pg3 here / / And I wonder why everything looks brighter in this pdf; makes me wonder if the published version looks like that~ Update: I have a hard copy now The works published here are my Born From the Hand, Born From Fingers and 3cm Family Swim
