Sales of this TShirt ? – 1 sale so far :) / Madonna and Child TShirt by Karin Taylor / Created on brown paper with white acrylic gesso / pastels and felt pen, and a little photoshopping I thought this would be a nice design for mums-to-be or those still breastfeeding their babies, it’s often hard to find appropriate clothing for the times when we are the nurturers….you could also wear this to the hospital for after the delivery, etc. It would also be nice to wear around Christmas time :D I have also created designs for cards and prints in two other variations of this design, a welcome/congratulations card/print as well as one with a fresh whitebackground that would look wonderful in the baby’s nursery

I did this painting over a year ago when I was going through some rough times and just needed to do something directly out of my head without making a pencil sketch first. I originally sketched this out on 4th of July of 2006 in a park on a beautiful day with my late girlfriend. She asked me to put a small white scotty dog in one of the squares. I did and she loved that it was something she asked for and I drew it. She also asked if and when I get around to making a painting of that sketch if I would also paint in the little white dog. I did. This one is for you baby!

Well im in the middle of painting this icon and stopped to play and decided to do a mosiac in corel painter, i find this image so powerful and healing just to look at it and it takes me back to my religious roots which i now find help me so much in life….. wow what fun but somewhat frustrating lol digital work using corel painter FEATURED IN THE GROUP ” C.O.R.E ” 19/07/09 THANK U SO MUCH…........
