This is a topical T-shirt design & if you read the name as pronounced on UK TV stations the T-shirt will read as Bernard Made Off With $50 Billion Dollars, why so serious!! / Well when you consider the global financial situation Bernard deserves a good kick in the nuts. He probably caused more damage than any terrorist. / So it would be showing your support for a good hard working artist (me) by buying this T-shirt never mind democracy!! Also available in the Obama campaign style as below. /
If Bernard Madoff had run for President then perhaps his campaign poster might have looked like this. It might not but I’m allowed to speculate; after all he did!! / I should point out there’s a play on words going on here. Madoff reads as Made of; so we end up with ‘Made of Money’ as the T-shirt slogan. Sadly its not his money its ours!! / Another version is also available in the style shown below. /
The real joker in the pack has got to be Bernard Madoff. Even the Joker would be impressed with Mr Madoff’s $50 billion dollar scam & Batman would be too. At least no one died; did they? / This design is the result of a suggestion from LostBoy. / Oh poor Bernard got 150 years behind bars for all the trouble he caused. Probably find he escapes before he serves the full sentence. OK he’ll have to die to escape but hey everything has a price!!
After months of travelling from the Grand Canyon to Virginia, Herman finally settled down and got in touch with his Financial Advisor Chris Fratzenfritzer to receive his quartely portfolio update. They met for lunch at the upscale Ugly Duckling, known for their splendid “All You Care To Eat” lunch buffet. Local authorities put together a quick press conference, reporting eye witness accounts of other guests and revealing the restaurants security camera footage: / “On January 8th, Chris Fratzenfritzer and Herman were seen entering the establishment, and immediatley settled down at the buffet. After approximately 15 minutes, fellow patrons overheard a heated argument coming from the buffet line. Eye witness accounts revealed that Herman picked up his portfolio and allegedly threw it at Chris. After the feathers settled, Chris was seen pounding his fist, upon which fellow patrons reported hearing a faint scream of “Bernard Madoff?” coming from Herman, just before he plunged into the abyss. The condition or whereabouts of Herman at this time is unknown. We will now answer any question you may have.” As you may know, he’s been spotted here: (click on image for more info) / / and here …. drinking beer / / and of course here, in Oatman Arizona: / / Let’s not forget the Grand Canyon sighting: / / bothering German tourists …. / / seeking shelter here: / / and going for a swim …. /
Bernie Madoff pulled off the world’s richest pyramid scheme. / He is a true pioneer in criminal thinking. / His eyes look straight through the viewer—and into their wallet. / This design is an ode to greed and materialsim. / For he is a king wearing a paper crown. Mixed media, 2009
—-—-—-—-—— Bernard Lawrence "Bernie" Madoff (born April 29, 1938 in New York City) is an American businessman and former chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange. An Australian man has come up with a little therapeutic revenge. / Madoff shafted investors to the tune of 50 billion dollars. Kevin Rudd is about to do Australians for 42 billion – perhaps he should be the maker’s next project.

Known as the Lipstick Bldg of 3rd Ave, New York City, this building has become more of a tourist attraction due to the former office of Bernard Madoff, than the unusual architecture. © jc warburton 09, Nikon D90,Nikkor 18-200mm 1:3.5 – 5.6 VR lens, tone mapping.
