a visual tale of madness and drug abuse
Health and Safety Madness / What’s happening to the world? It’s getting to the point where you’ll need a risk assesor, paramedic, fireman, police officer and the obligatory solicitor in attendance before you can let your kids play in a public park. Councils and local government are so worried about legal proceedings, health and safety madness has taken over. What’s happened to the time when accidents were just accidents?
Original in private collection Watercolor on Arches 140# Hot Press paper. 18”W x 19 1/2”H This is an interpretation of a busy street scene on a rainy day in Chicago based upon a photo I took years ago. I have always wanted to paint the scene and finally put the brush to paper. It was a challenge to portray the light of a rainy day and the reflections on wet cobblestones but I was really pleased with the outcome and it has become one of my favorites. Giclee’s on cotton rag paper are available. Please bubblemail or email me for details on purchasing a giclee. Email – mbaileyart@gmail.com / /
