So I’ve got this purple character w/ a top-hat, w/ rectangle eyes and his big mouth. / And after remembering seeing a cool Domo shirt last year @ SDCC, I thought ‘hey do a shirt of that weird looking character w/ the mouth’ so here it is. Chamba’s Personal colour picks: / Lemon / Blue / Forest / Silver / Cranberry
A tee shirt version of this For no real reason. Except I like symmetry and records.

Acrylic & Silver Foil On Canvas Specially added for Sorinna – Thanks for looking at my blog and requesing this for purchase, hope you enjoy!
Same T shirt design as the original one I did on white background, but it looks better on a black shirt in my opinion. / In case you hadn’t guessed this is the Super-charger as seen on the much modified Australian Ford Falcon XB muscle car from the Mad Max films. Haven’t seen it? Well you’re missing out on a real treat. Go and rent it! The caption is the line from Jim Goose, Max’s best mate in the film.
Buy it here ThomasDodd.com/Store “There, on the pendent boughs her coronet weeds / Clambering to hang, an envious sliver broke; / When down her weedy trophies and herself / Fell in the weeping brook. Her clothes spread wide; / And, mermaid-like, awhile they bore her up: / Which time she chanted snatches of old tunes; / As one incapable of her own distress, / Or like a creature native and indued / Unto that element: but long it could not be / Till that her garments, heavy with their drink, / Pull’d the poor wretch from her melodious lay / To muddy death…” (Hamlet – Act 4. Scene VII)
Acrylic on canvas. / I put my own spin on Edvard Munch’s painting The Scream.

Image taken with the Nikon D40x, using the 18-135mm lens. Used the tripod, shutter speed 6, aperture f/22, exposure -.67, iso 800. No flash. Of everything I’ve done, this is by far my favorite image (well, actually, there IZ one other … ). This was created for a “challenge” at another photo site … and came in second place out of … well, a bunch … but that’s not why it’s my favorite. This was done not long after I got my Nikon D40x … which I realize isn’t a wildly sophisticated camera, but which was a giant leap forward to me after my little Olympus C-5000 zoom. There were many new features on the Nikon that I was hopelessly confused about, but I was very fortunate to have a dear friend, AndreiSky, who kindly helped me understand the mysteries of the aperture. The set up for this image was an adventure in flashlights, darkness, kitchen stools, sofa pillows and the dreaded tripod. Not to mention my beautiful antique mahjong set … for which I finally found a use since I have no idea how to play mahjong!! So that’s it!! My masterpiece!! Hope you like it!!!

Portraits of Hope
A self developed Holga shot / A broom / A mannequin minus a nose I fail to see what else I could have done to improve this.
I won’t sell this piece, and it is the only one. I have had offers before, but I am glad I didn’t accept them still. It’s painted on plasterboard I stole from a building site as at the time I couldn’t afford canvas, or even board. / The figure is me – I had long hair at the time… / It is the last piece I did before I quit drinking – TEN YEARS AGO TODAY – the 20th of december… The title is from my favourite Tori Amos song, from her first album.
The insanity of the nuts had begun to taint the fruitbowl. The bowl used to be a place of harmony until the bananas moved in and started to turn everything funny. Only the grapfruit retained some vestige of sanity but that was bound to disappear soon.

This is a short-story/open letter of a sort. It marks my first completed attempt at writing about a subject I have struggled with for many years. Thank you Bell for the inspiration. And thanks to those of you who read it, because my Dad always wanted everyone to read. Dad, this is for you.
