A dandelion seed head with water drops on it. I put some red flowers behind the dandelion, so they would refract inside the droplets. A tribute to Redbubble! My entry for the macro red challenge

This is my favorite photo of all! There is a wild red rose by my kitchen door. Late one afternoon, I was clipping tired blooms from the clusters; some clusters were hanging down. As I reached for this one to turn it over, a glimpse of gold flashed in the low sun. I looked again and discovered this tiny little frog napping in the heart of the bloom. I had only the negative and a small digital file from a scan, and it has taken me a month to get it into the appropriate high-resolution format where I can finally offer it for sale! Forms (or Ideas), and not the material world of change known to us through sensation, possess the highest and most fundamental kind of reality. (Plato)
Given the name of this website, I thought this image of some strawberries sitting in Champagne might be appropriate.

This green tree frog is looking at life from the point of a Heliconia bloom
This is a macro that I took today of a flower in a pot plant which I was given. I just liked the vivid colour, the abstract quality and that this image is totally untouched and 100% natural! Ohh, and take the time to view it larger to see the tiny dew drops on the petal :o)

Because I’ve been stuck at home, I’m getting into the macro photography! Here’s another one I took today and it turned out okay…. I know it’s been done before but it’s new to me!
Macro photograph taken from a rose! Photographed with aperture priority, indoors, fluorescent lighting! One of the girls at work received these from her husband for their wedding anniversary, I just happened to have my camera handy (always in my handbag)! Macro photography of flowers as well as rocks and bark are my passion!!!

A small bunch of beautiful red roses, refracted in a droplet of water. If you want to purchase this image, please do so through the Phoenix Appeal, where profits will go towards victims of the Australian bushfires. Taken with a Nikon D200, Lensbaby 3G and macro attachment.
Raindrops on roses, / And whiskers on kittens.
I hope people aren’t tired of my origami; but I needed to do this before the flower dies; my mom brought some flowers back from a wedding two weekends ago, and when I saw this particular flower, I really wanted to create this image because the centre of this flower looked like a field. The folded peacock is comprised of two piece of paper: one for the body, the other for the tail. The body is made from a 6×6mm paper, and the tail I faned out of a circle about 1cm in diameter which I cut a slit through. The peacock walks through a field of colour and gets pollen on itself; and that is how the peacock got its color!
