Here’s one I took today… I like it for it’s simplicity. This leaf also was placed on a mirror.
Another picture from my peacock feather series. I really enjoy the play of darks and highlights in this water droplet… it seems like a little war is being waged inside the drop… the forces of good and evil… the forces of light and dark… (I have an imaginative mind, don’t I? lol) I hope you enjoy this piece! Here is an old macro of a water drop in a bougainvillea flower. I’ve sat on this one for a while but always kept coming back to it so finally decided to share! I title this image ‘precious’, for the precious resource which I photographed; water.

Best if viewed larger shot this using a nikon diopter lens attached to a canon 75-300mm lens, / shot this in aperture priority, Fstop at F14, SS at 1/40, ISO at 200, exposure bias at +0.03, focal length at 120mm

so i love this photo. / can’t take credit though! this was taken by miss ashley nixon! [but edited by me] / shes in the reflection [obviously] and well…thats my face haha. she was my client but now shes a sweet friend to have! shes always motivated to be doing new things and just loves her camera now that she knows how to use it! haha And it was good just to go around town and take random photos .. I don’t do it nearly enough and I really should.. I mean I love what I do, don’t get me wrong.. but its nice to just take pics for my own sake for once.. Love It.
