Macro reflecting

  • Dew drops on a spider web on a barb wire fence. Viewed from just below so as to only see sky behind it and the drops reflecting an upside down pic of the sky and land. I couldn’t see this with the naked eye – it was only when I got in close and down low with the macro lens that I saw it through the view finder. It reminded me of planets suspended in a galaxy and that there is a whole different world out there to be viewed through a macro lens.

  • Tiny dandelion seeds

  • Here is another one from my macro collection. Again, I’m my own worse critic so wasn’t too sure about this one so I’ll let you decide.

  • First macro with my new camera. My remote doesn’t fit on this model so I had a bit of shutter shake & a bit of movement from the air-con (it was 41 degrees here today).

  • This is a photo of a water droplet with a pink background, I used soft focus on this one. This is actually fun to do although only around one in ten or twenty shots even have a droplet visible and then out of those, very few have good clarity but I have managed to get some that I thought were nice. I’m a sucker for tiny reflections. / / /

  • For Holly :) Taken at 4 times magnification of a rain drop hanging from a plant in our English garden.
