I was out for a walk yesterday, when I spied these HUGE mushrooms!!! I thought at first (from a distance) that it was trash in someones yard. Upon close inspection… WOW!!! What a fun time I had photographing these!!! Due to the fact that it has been raining in the evenings, they were able to grow…. and as I lay in the grass to get some shots off, my daughter was quick to point out that there were mosquito’s EVERYWHERE!!!!!! AAAAAAAAA I’m covered in bites, and itching like crazy….. but hey, anything for the shot right???? Since we’ve had some rain, mushrooms are popping up everywhere. Some post tweaking with saturation and blur. Let me just mention some dimentions here: Those huge white flowers are about 1mm from petal-tip to petal-tip. Also note the grains of sand and the blades of grass. This is a very tiny scene@

We have toadstools growing on the other side of the driveway! Fairy rings one side, houses the other! I’ve left food and other related things in the tags… it must be food for someone! It did have an ant crawling on it. I missed it though (obviously!!).
