The answer is YES… / they were terrible!!! / We had to do this shot about 6 times before we got one I liked. The taste was in my mouth for about 3 hours! / My wife gets credit for the makeup and actually taking the picture. / I setup all the lights and camera for her and told her to just hold down the shutter as soon as the pennies started to come out. / Are you tired of the self portraits yet? Sorry…there’s more lol
Fun with an egg some sketching on top of some rust pics and stone wall :) Thank you so much for taking a peek..Chris

WATERCOLOR & INK.
6 of 12 from my new ‘Gloomsbury Series 2009’. Watercolour & ink on A3 185gsm watercolour paper. JACK THE KNIFE is a 19th Century tattoo collector. / He collects tattooed skin. / He’s also the Master Mason of the ‘Masongynist’ Society. A right tool one wouldn’t want up one’s dark alley I say…..
8”x10” scratchboard – Part of my “Proof of Faith” exhibit at Art Whino, National Harbor, MD. Please see www.artwhino.com for purchase. This piece is another experiment with the concept of totem poles. I am intrigued by the stacking of ideas into a vertical story, aesthetically and conceptually. Maybe some more totems are on their way?
Selfportrait, from “Break the Silence” series, focusing on Art against sexual abuse. Resources: PrettyBrush
Nine Riders there were, and the Witch-King their master of old. / Each wore a ring, symbol of Sauron’s lordship; more than that: / each golden band was a servant of the One Ring, forged in / Orodruin. They had once been mortal men; now they were / wraiths: unsubstantial, Dark Spirit; they lived in both worlds / simultaneously, but not without torment. They hated / their evil Lord, but were compelled to serve him all the days / of their lives…and they were deathless. Through the long centuries / it had always been the same: they had to do his will. / But they could blame only themselves; they had lusted for / power and had chosen the Darkness. And it had chosen / them. It had given them power over other wills, / but at a dreadful price: surrendering their souls to the / Dark Lord…forever. DARKNESS WENT WITH THEM, AND THEY CRIED WITH THE VOICES OF DEATH. FEATURED IN: FANTASY ART. FEATURED IN: “GOT BRAINS”. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- / Many thanks to / chop-stock / punkroll-stock for the skulls, / and one public domain skull image. Many thanks to Stocks4U for the horse and rider.
A collaboration with dinghysailor1. I gave Maggie a shortlist of interesting buildings and scenes that I thought would make some nice and atmospheric artworks. Maggie went out and very keenly scoured around her area in Scotland and took some excellent photographs of fantastic Architecture and scenery that you just can’t find in Australia ! Then I used two of the photos Maggie took to create this image in Photoshop Elements 7. A number of filter effects were applied to the numerous layers, some layers were tinted to make the colour scheme cohesive, and I imported the sky from one of my own photos and cropped out the foreground of that shot. BEST VIEWED LARGE, ONE CLICK ON THE PIC WILL DO IT Meet Casey and Katey Syni’ster. Fraternal twins born 7 weeks apart from one another. Most say that Casey was forced from her mothers womb in an act of unspeakable violence from her father. ALL say that this premature separation drove the twins quite mad. Casey shrieked and screamed like a possessed little demon till the moment her sister Katey was born and placed beside her in their crib 7 full weeks later. Her mother loathed this child (Casey that is) finding the screaming from the rotten little brat unbearable. Inevitably she dropped off this sweet baby to the church across the street and left her to the care of the nuns. (Please note that no one knows how the Syni’ster family managed to get their daughter back…of course the nuns taking care of baby Casey went missing sometime shortly after Katey’s birth!!!!!!!!) / / Neither child has shed a tear since the moment they were reunited. / / These girls “DO NOT PLAY WELL WITH OTHERS”....according to the teachers at school. They make a living of tormenting the other children around them. They are adored by their murderous parents…Although I can’t say that these sweet little angels feel the same way about mommy and daddy… I was lucky (or is it UNLUCKY) enough to spend a day with the Syni’ster Family and make it home alive. What I saw gave me HORRIFIC nightmares and I can’t say I am going to make it back there for dinner EVER again… There will be a series of pictures of the entire family (and my journals) to follow over the next few days and weeks, as I work on them….I hope they don’t find me….PLEASE GOD don’t let them find me!!!!!!!!!! If I go missing…please contact the authorities and send them to the general store in Ladywood, Manitoba….you will undoubtedly find my remains on the grounds somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
