  • Female brazilian wolf spider

  • South american wolf spider species

  • A Garden Wolf Spider of the Swan Coastal Plain. This photo was taken at its regular home on my washing line. Taken on a Panasonic Lumix DMC – FZ50, ISO 100 f3.6. Cropped and minor level adjustment only.

  • Another victim of our local resident parasitic Spider Wasp, Cryptocheilus bicolor! I had to be quick as this guy was shaking his legs and rather large “fangs”. The Wasp quickly sorted that out and took him from me! / Fasinating eyes on this hey?

  • Lycosa storri She has lived in our garden for a number of years. Frankland, Western Australia.

  • Garden Wolf Spider – Lycosa godeffroyi FAMILY LYCOSIDAE (fairly certain but could be wrong…). This guy was chilling out in a Bromeliad plant (of the same family as pinapples believe it or not!). Quite surprised I got a clear shot of him as my hands were shaking ridiculously.. Taken in Brisbane, Australia. Canon 400D and 100mm macro lens.
