Scientists are currently playing around with the humble strawberry, splicing it with fish proteins in an attempt to create a strain of strawberries that will freeze better and have an extended shelf life. Yum!

This is another view of the road that leads to my house…..or…deeper in the woods if you go the opposite way… The dirt road is naturally a rich reddish brown color..and although it complemented the color of the supple pines…I felt that presenting this image in a desaturated or black and white image would draw your eye along the path of the road more easily… / / I feel so very honored that Simon Mears has found t song lyrics to attach to this image!!! This is some kind of Sedum – it’s a ground cover that spreads quickly! I have pulled and pulled this stuff out of my garden – it can be very invasive! It’s quite pretty in the spring. It turns to a more golden yellow through the summer months.
