Welcome to my sense of humor, basically is an image of a bar for bears, it has wine, honey and water. And yes, it has mead and beer as well. Made on Illustrator and modified on Photoshop.
Well, who’ve could have thought? House and hills drawing made by hand, background, clouds, and the rest of the elements done on Illustrator and final composition, lighting effects and such done on Photoshop.
Something different this time, a bit darker from what I usually do, but I’m very pleased with this one. Boss and underboss outside their office. Lines drawn by hand and everything else done with Photoshop.
When I was studying an specialty on corporate identity, we were asked once to take an image that we could relate with, for don’t know what reason I chose a polaroid by PheebsYeahBaby from DeviantART, once you chose it, you had to separate the main elements and that was it, but I took some of that drawings to make this. Original drawings made by hand with pencil, everything else (color included) done on Photoshop. Here is the link to the polaroid that inspired this.
In some strange country or at some point in history this was supposed to have a classic, or retro, or something feeling. Either that or it’s a non-sense piece and I won’t admit it. All done in Photoshop except the taxi photo vectorization which it was made on Illustrator. The little flame also done in Illustrator. All photos by me except the taxi stock photo from Stock.XCHNG
“As explained by the Dr. Nikola Vega, life structure consists on a series of adapters that intercommunicate all the different languages available, from music to genetics, everything has what Dr. Vega calls “little mathematical ports” which alouds information to come and go. “That’s why it wasn’t until the 22th Century that we finally could explain life itself, because we studied each phenomena separated from each other when actually they all are interconnected”, said Dr. Vega.” Great stock photo by BreedStock from DeviantART. Draw made by hand, color, lighting and such all done on Photoshop.
A small pop art piece regarding music, how it surround us and how good is that. It’s conceptual in a way. And more colorful than what I usually do. All made on Illustrator.
A conceptual pop art piece that is about relating to people, finding things in common. Also in a very, very, subtle way, the color scheme is a tribute to a part of the 90’s. All made on Illustrator.
Actually it’s the moment before writing, or doing anything for that matter, the moment that many consider as important as the action itself since it’s when you decide what you’re going to do. Drawing made by hand and everything else done on Photoshop.
My most minimalistic collage. Everything done on Photoshop. And of course, thanks to all these people for their great stock images: / sdxy-stock / acelceva / inspyretash-stock
A simple chair I drew one day. Made by hand with a regular pen and color markers.
“That old robot and his anecdotes, C still has the charm to amuse people with them. And it’s nice to know that there still is someone from the days of The Last Union passing out all this stories to the kids.” Great stock photo by KaylinStock Draw made by hand, color, lighting and such all done on Photoshop.
The name came immediately to my head while doing these, although I don’t know why. For me it’s like time being photographed, the owls are like people in their everyday life, each individual’s life is different from each other even when they can look all the same. The owl image was made on Illustrator only with typography (and is based on the photo of a real owl), in fact, the piece itself was made on that software except for the bunch of effects added later on Photoshop.
Ok, it’s not pop art at a 100% but since there isn’t a “stupid sense of humor” art style it doesn’t really matter anyway. Completely done on Illustrator.
To be able of laughing at yourself is a good quality, that I don’t have. Therefore I made this to satirize(?) myself, but in a way only I can understand. This was conceived in two parts, this is part one. Part two is here.
I was trying to make a collage but it ended being this pop art piece, whatever. Yeah, I know this is naive in a way, enjoy it. Everything done on Photoshop. And of course, thanks to SenshiStock, KinkyPink-stock, and masterjinn for their great stock images: Valiant photo from sxc.hu
My contribution to the Holonic Art Movement, this is the first part of a Bestiary, I guess it’s no surprise that I had chosen a bear to begin it. If you’re interested in participate in this or any other project of the Holonic Art Movement please visit their website. Bear drew by hand with a regular pen, everything else done on Illustrator.
I did this one day in which I had a lack of optimism. I didn’t had in mind the Metallica’s song, but it could fit in, or not. Everything done on Illustrator. And of course, thanks to violataz and robnic for their great stock.
The talented Jeremy Brotherton suggested me once to make a camera themed piece, so I came up with this, a lens themed image, ok, it has the film on the background and that may still make it camera themed. All done with Illustrator except for the lens’s external glow. I used great stock.xchng images.
Another collage that thinks about itself as a pop art piece. All done in Photoshop except for the leaves pattern made on Illustrator. Thanks to kasxia and pinkpanthress-stock for their great stock images. Turntable and gas pump from Stock.XCHNG
“Even when it knew they were looking for it, GTR-900 got the courage to break into The Central looking for the evidence that will clear its name.” Draw made by hand, color, lighting and everything else done on Photoshop. Great background photo by Rayn-Stock
First, I know that squids are aggressive solitary creatures that never work in team, that the colors I used aren’t the exact real ones, that they live in even deeper waters than the depicted here, and that there are other discrepancies, but if you complain about it, then I win. With that aside, this is another brilliant non-sense pop art piece that only a few can understand, just because. Done on Illustrator and finished on Photoshop.
Years ago I made that radio of a project I was working on, but it never got used, so I decided to use it now for this nostalgic piece. It doesn’t represent any period in particular, it’s more like a mixture of different styles. Completely done on Illustrator.
