  • This wooden heart wanted to go back home.

  • We found this old burnt down house one day when we were out for yet another of our walks in the woods, and fell in love with it.We hope you do too . / Anybody want to rebuild it for us to live in?

  • I shall not speak directly of the image, but I shall say that the line quoted (in all probability, misquoted) for the title used to be one of the most comforting, thought provoking things I had ever heard. I used to not sleep. Therefore, because I did not sleep, the fairy tales that were best to me, were the ones such as Sleeping Beauty, wherein a young female got to slumber over centuries, Rip Van Winkle who also slept a good long time, and, to some extent, the Princess and the Pea. Though that one was more due to my revisement of the story, in my head, wherein I imagined slipping out of bed, removing the pea, and then drifting blissfully off to sleep. It was a true tale of horror to me, that someone would purposely ruin a person’s sleep that way; when it’s so hard to get it back!

  • You don’t have to look identical to be great together. If it makes you happy, it’s what’s right. In love, in life. In footwear.

  • A nostalgic moment. This life is but a fleeting moment and all we have is eachother and the Father God who created us all. If only we would look beyond the thin veil of this physical world, we would glimpse eternity and our place in it. Image as taken.

  • This photo was actually one I took on my 36th birthday! I am wearing the shirt which I took the initiative to design. I began the artwork by drawing the bird with a pencil. I had taken its picture during a brief time we had a visit before we let her go again. I then used oil pastel crayons to draw this image. I really need to start drawing again soon! I hope you enjoy this delightful photo I took of myself 4 years ago! Thanks so much for taking time to view my portfolio.

  • forever.

  • This was also taken in Vienna, Maine, looking out on Kimball Pond. It was early in the morning and the fog was still sitting out on the water. It’s so still and quiet. Then you hear the pair of loons calling out with their beautiful sound. I love it!

  • I have an old Cedar blanket box in my studio that I stripped a few years ago, I had set the rings on the box and then noticed the contrasting textures of the rings and wood. so i snapped this.
