A pair of Sulawesi Crested Macaques paying undivided attention to their young baby and displaying the most tender and caring side of their nature. It was a great privilege to witness and photograph this intimate family moment as the father reached around from behind the mother to gently assist with the grooming of the baby. Well time snuck up & the dreaded holding of hands walk to the / Best Hairdresser In Town flair for hair Broadford. 5.30pm right on closing they locked the door after us. Sitting side by side it wasn’t long before l needed a tissue or 2 but the hairdressers were truly beautiful besides…....... l even scored a little mohawk. / Tell ya what fellas you get that cool breeze thang happen’en / Your bald head feels intirely different sensations altogether. / My Chemotherapy has affected everyone so much but Hubbies doin fine tak’en all his stress out on his beautiful fesh veggie garden almost ready to plant out. We are all strong enough to give it our best shot & we NEVER give up / Ahhhh 23 years married this November XXXXXXX

Adriano and I. Shot in Melbourne (Australia) a few months ago. Even though I look super tired in this, having just arrived back in Melbourne after 36 hours of travelling…..I love Adriano’s expression here!! So I thought it was worth the upload!!

I created this image to illustrate the song Journey’s End – which was written by Jamie and me (he wrote the lyrics, I composed the music). The above video was put together by Jamie about a year and a half ago and features all his own photographic work. You will recognise a couple of the images that make up this manipulation from when they appear in the video. The main portrait is an image I took just a couple of days ago. This manip was put together in photoshop utilizing a number of techniques. I began with the main portrait, created a duplicate layer which I applied the dark strokes and guassian blur filters to and Multiplied over the original. Then I added Jamie’s images, and blended them using Linear Light (on the image where we are walking away from you) and Hard Light (on the one where we’re walking toward you). I then did the “Leader Method” (a duplicate layer converted to black and white, with the rough pastels filter applied to it, selectively erased to bring out colour and detail where you want it) to my main portrait, and blended all the layers in by carefully erasing bits here and there. I overlayed the whole thing with some of Jamie’s original grunge texture, then flattened the image. I then applied the Orton Effect to the whole thing, and finished it off by applying a layer of my texture (using the Soft Light option). And, voila!
