Cast light and careful shadows. It took 4 different shoots with the same concept to get the image that I wanted, but I think it was well worth it.

This was the best day of our Artic trip, we were so lucky to spend hours with this polar bear mum and cubs (there were actually two cubs but the other is out of shot). The sunlight through the petals and leaves looked lovely against the backdrop of the snow outside. Our short days make sunshine seem all the more precious, even indoors. artisandelimage kindly suggested that I crop the line of the wall to the right, as well as a bit off the top.
