  • 19 February, 2008 It all started with a TV screen shot. I got then inspired to start a series of compositions called The colours of love. This artwork is the first in this series. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it. —- A very dear RB friend of mine surprised me beautifully about a year ago and bought a canvas print of The colours of Love – Mother and child. How do you think I feel when I think this composition is on a wall in Australia? / Crushed. Humbled. Ecstatic. And then crushed again. / / —- 28-13-1302 - 09-11-15 / 35-17-1379 - 09-11-20

  • / CLICK THIS IMAGE TO READ MORE ABOUT IT! BONUS COLLAGE! What you see here is one of several works of art to be posted over the next seven days – the results of a seven day smackdown between myself, and the fabulous Angi Sullins and Silas Toball – where Angi made a traditional collage, and then gave it to Silas and I, letting us loose on it with our photoshop skills. :) For this one – I was really draw to one element in particular, in the original collage. Some orange detailing that made me think of goldfish, or koi. I couldn’t get the image out of my head… no matter that the whole focus of the original collage was BUNNIES! LOL So, instead of following the white rabbit, and dove into the lily pond with the fishies. Here is the original collage: (TO BE POSTED MOMENTARILY)

  • Painting by Dorina Costras / 60/80 cm / Acrylic and oil on canvas

  • / Between the greater-soul & fleshed reality are particles, the final tangible reaches of our thought, seeming like something singing out beyond the rugged tabletops of testable existence, & if we had eyes to see this outlandish world, we might see a swirling of mysterious cloudy forms, a blending of ourselves & our surroundings in a mystical dancing light, in salty jewels, our cloudy arms & hands would try to reach our cloudy chairs & sink & blend into a mad phantasmagoria… / We should be afraid until we learned that we were part of it, our bodies swirling clouds of atoms; but what’s important is that we would be seeing at the gate just beyond which is the home of Mystery, source of Soul, which is our truest life, our centrum… / Now where would we be if we stepped forward, through the gate, through the mysterious clouds of unknowing? / This makeshift shadowy world is a metaphor which is our chariot of choice, our light-inducting dark-proof vehicle ready to ride the road & river of space & time, to deliver us from evil, which is all that isn’t, in the vision of the cloud-bodied hungry soul, when it goes through the gate to the mystery of unanswering love.. / We see from there how all things flow outward toward wisdom, & back upon themselves toward joy, & that love is always answering, is the cloud formed into self, which is others & all, at once. E.M. Shorb We stand always on this side of the gate looking through to what is on the other side…it is light sometimes, it is dark at others…dare we go through?...in his brilliant poem Shorb says it for us.. • I often think about how I came here naked and pretty beat up. My life was not working. Through Art I got a sense of feeling again I connected to my Source aka.. Nipple.. (tehee) / When I connected to Source, I was able to reach out and allow others back into my world again thus I created or Allowed … Community. RB Community is practice all the time for me to go outside my door and become more, become a part of my world around me. Sometimes I feel being here is like proving grounds; that if I can do it here, connect and love, I can do this feeling and knowing …anywhere. I sure do love you. / Linaji / 2009 Mandala’s Nipple /
