Did this quick piece for fun.. I miss my old friend, Brown, a stray cat. And sometimes, before i sleep, i’d imagine this image in mind.. And i’d fall asleep feeling him close to me once again. I first drew the chibi and the cat in flash.. then i did the rest of the painting in photoshop.. Comments and critics will be appreciated. n_n My Animal Friends Series: / / / Collaboration Designs with Karin: / Check out my T.I.M t-shirts series: /
I took this shot of my pet cat in my garden and still laugh whenever I see it…....it looks as if he is sharing a secret with my other cat. If you would like to buy a card and/or print just go to buy/preview
I miss you when something really good happens, because you are the one I want to share it with. / I miss you when something is troubling me, because you are the one who understands me so well. / I miss you when I laugh and cry because I know that you are the one that makes my laughter grow and my tears disappear. / I miss you all the time, but I miss you most when I lay awake at night and think of all the wonderful times we spent with each other; for those were some of the best times of my life…
Acrylic On Canvas Once,Ophelia had an unforgettable experience on a lush green mountaintop, she felt she was lovingly embraced by the beauty of the moutain there….it felt as if the trees and the clouds whispered into her heart wondrous secrets that few knew. Oh, how she longed for the day to come when she would be back there…to build her nest in the heart of the mountain :D / / / View other products of “Mountain Whispers” in my Zazzle store! /

/beautiful song If You’re Not The One performed by Daniel Bedingfield/ If you’re not the one then why does my soul feel glad today? / If you’re not the one then why does my hand fit yours this way? / If you are not mine then why does your heart return my call? / If you are not mine would I have the strength to stand at all? I never know what the future brings / But I know you are here with me now / We’ll make it through / And I hope you are the one I share my life with If I don’t need you then why am I crying on my bed? / If I don’t need you then why does your name resound in my head? / If you’re not for me then why does this distance maim my life? / If you’re not for me then why do I dream of you as my wife? I don’t know why you’re so far away / But I know that this much is true / We’ll make it through / And I hope you are the one I share my life with / And I wish that you could be the one I die with / And I’m praying you’re the one I build my home with / I hope I love you all my life I don’t wanna run away but I can’t take it, I don’t understand / If I’m not made for you then why does my heart tell me that I am / Is there any way that I can stay in your arms? ‘Cause I miss you, body and soul so strong that it takes my breath away / And I breathe you into my heart and pray for the strength to stand today / ‘Cause I love you, whether it’s wrong or right / And know I can’t be with you tonight / You know my heart is by your side… More photos: / /

I was obscured by sea scrub bushes as he lumbered along the sandy path with difficulty; his knees stiff with arthritis, his knobbly hands clasped behind his back. He reminded me of an old tree full of whorls and gnarls and knots in the wood. I wondered fleetingly of his love for the ocean that made him hobble and drag himself across the sand towards the silvery lace of the sea. As he passed by unaware of my presence, he said in rusty tones, ‘Well love, looks like we’ve got the beach to ourselves today.’ Iwatched him walk to the water and put his feet in, imagining the salty comfort of his toes. I wondered what he missed the most: the smell of love on his skin, in his clothes and hair, or the feel of love beside him in his bed, or love’s face waiting for him at the end of each day that made all the days of rubies or coal worth it, or the way life felt measured by the love’s grace. I wondered if he missed the sound of love humming their favourite song in the next room. His hands of wood and knots stayed clasped behind his back. I bet he was a hand-holder, I thought, my eyes stinging. I bet he can still hear music in the next room.
am thinking of making some prints out of Tim.. ^ _ ^“ sometimes, when we’re living too far apart from someone we love, it’ll be nice to send them a card or print telling them how we feel and how much we miss them, eh? especially since Christmas is coming.. a day to celebrate and enjoy with our loved ones.. =) / / Came up with this piece from my tee design, Pain.. / http://www.redbubble.com/people/frozenfa/clothing/1247250-4-pain Check out my T.I.M t-shirts series: /

My mum’s cat ‘Bitty’ – she’s a piece of work! Description for DAC: Base image of the blue, cloudy sky with the tree branches silhouetted is duplicated in the Layers Palette (Photoshop CS3 Extended) and then Multiplied to make it darker like night time. I then opened my Moon image and placed it between the background layer and the multiplied copy layer so it appears to be on the other side of the branch sihouette, then I chose Screen as the blending option. I then opened the cat image and placed her in the composition and enlarged her slightly. I added a new blank layer and painted the yellow parts of her eyes using a soft, medium brush, and the yellow color at 48% so it is still fairly transparent, as the original cat photo doesn’t really show off her multi-colored eyes that well. I then realized I needed a fence or something to ‘sit’ Bitty the kitty on, so I opened a wood texture image I had, reduced it in size to fit the width of the image, and then copied it and then distorted the copy using Distort in the Edit/Transform palette so that it fit the other layer giving a dimensional fence for Bitty to look like she is sitting on. I merged the two fence layersI then reduced the color saturation of that layer so that it blends in a bit better. That’s it. My homage to a finicky, lovely kittythat my mum has spoiled rotten ;-)

I’d like to introduce you to my kitty Levi. A sweetheart…a hunter…a lap cuddler…and totally a “mama’s boy”. I found Levi about 5 years ago at the humane society when I was in the search of my cat Angel who had dissappeared. When I made my last attempt to find Angel…I spotted this beautiful grey, yellow eyed kitten in a cage. We locked eyes immediately as I picked him up, petting him softly and whispering to him. I had no intensions of adopting a kitten that day…but it was love at first site. I’ve had many cats in my life…but never a bond like this one….which is how he earned his nick name mama’s boy…OH and Mr. Poops of course…you can imagine how he earned that one, lol. We were inseparable…as well as my daughter…boy did Levi love his girls. Today 8/11/09, Levi passed away. 2 days ago Levi had gotten really sick and lethargic and was walking really funny. We’ve had many kitties, and they’ve all gotten sick before…but this time it was different. We took Levi to the vet…and the tests confirmed that he had gotten into “antifreeze” and his kidneys were failing. I’ve heard the horror stories of animals dieing from antifreeze…but this is the first time it’s happened to any of my kitties…let alone, the first time I had to put one to sleep. He was only 5 years old. I can’t even begin to stress how important it is to keep chemicals out of harms way, even if it’s a puddle developing under your car…it’s more deadly than you think…and it would cause a lot of heartache to a loving owner. Levi had to be put to sleep as he was suffering terribly and I stayed with him to the very end. He left me the same way he came into my life…eyes locked, me petting him softly and whispering to him. So this is for you Levi…I love you and thank you for being my best friend, I’ll never forget you!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX My Levi: / / / / / /
