Driving along this almost deserted highway we spotted this Love heart, somewhere between Uluru and Kings Canyon. An amazing piece of work, literally in the middle of nowhere. Hence the title, Love is all around…even in the middle of nowhere….. Self-portrait with the Very Tall Bassist, 2007 So a little background – i occasionally toy with the idea of using other people in photos with me, and models in general…not that i’ll ever stray far from SP’s, but one does crave a little variety now and then – and i have some very willing victims around me, especially of late. / The Very Tall Bassist is not, in fact, “my Man” or anything like that (although, perhaps there’s a bit of the story i’m leaving to the imagination, here…), but he sure has some cool wristbands, no? ;)
