Featured in Group – The X – March 2009 Shelby & Zach This couple is so adorable. We learned today that when you pass by them, many different things go through your mind. You think, “Wow, that is an AMAZING couple. They are like a fairytale.” And by the time they are out of sight, you find yourself crying because it’s highly unlikely that you will ever be this happy. I learned that if you are fortunate enough to get a peek inside their relationship, you’ll see a deeper love that you thought was only possible in movies. I’ve never seen a couple with a passion like they have. Well… except for Mitch and I. ;)

Finished just now (8:36 am on 6/29/2009) as a digital self portrait, mixed media digital as it combines photograph, drawing/painting, and filter work, layering, etc. It’s a strange feeling, as it was done of, and from, a photograph of me; but, I don’t look at it and go “Look! There’s me!” Actually, I look at it and think “I wish I could look like that!” Well, except for actually human, and not just a rendering of someone. lol You know what I mean! I think this is the way a person looks through the eyes of a lover, maybe Softer, sweeter, gentler, but relatively recognizable and accepted. In fact, that they are accepted is probably why everything is softer, because the edges are there still, but the bite is gone from them. In this case, this is more how thinking of a certain person, when I believe they care for me, makes me feel. I might, later on, upload the digital photo, as a separate piece, so I am not attaching a link to it, here and now.
