So I’ve been selling a few t-shirts and am stoked on the fact that RedBubble is doing it’s thing and making everyone an extra dollar or two, whilst showering the world with artistic love in the form of t-shirts (in my case thusfar). I decided to venture from RedBubble and submit one of my t-shirt designs to Threadless for some voting love in the hope of getting printed, so if you are on Threadless then feel free to vote for my Ninja Love t-shirt design… and/or use the ultra-fancy banner options to hep me promote the design. Thank you so much to all my fellow bubblers’ well wishes with regards to my joint exhibition show :D I’m most happy to update you with the news that The Dreamer was sold yesterday to a Belgian(they are called Belgians right?) customer! I was down at the show yesterday….just to see how things were and of cos I dont deny the fact that I hope to meet someone who will love my work enough to buy….so I went around looking at others’ works…then I came to my own…and I saw 3 men looking at my owls :D So I mustered enough courage to introduce myself as the one behind the owls…so to cut the whole story short, one of the men said his mum is a super fervent owl lover and he’s looking for a birthday present for his mum! I couldnt believe my ears and my heart was just leaping with joy! So now The Dreamer is going to reside in some part of Belgium and in the loving hands of a fellow owl lover! :D I brought my cam along and wanted to take a shot with this customer…and guess what..no SD card inside, I left it in the laptop, so no pics to show here today. He did get his friend to take a pic of us so I really hope he remembers to email me :D The painting looks exactly like the framed print above…black frame with black board within :D Happy happy! Another 7 days before the show closes :D “The Dreamer” is also available in many other products in my Zazzle Gallery :D

It was really delightful to be informed by Karen Cook that my Love Is Lighting Up Somebody Else’s Darkest Moments is being featured side by side with Karen’s at the RB’sFeatured Wall Art And Greeting Cards :D It’s my first feature there, so exciting!! :D Many thanks to the Singapore Group for featuring both Heartstrings and Wish Upon A Star too!! :D My sales in zazzle have also started to pick up, I have 4 sales this week… Sales at Zazzle was really slow for me initially…no sales for first 2 months, it got really discouraging…but thought I would just press on and see how,glad I did because I made close to 20 sales in the last 1 month plus or so,really counting my blessings everyday for that. I am about 3 plus months into Zazzle :D I want to mention special thanks to Ujean for being that constant beacon of light for me at zazzle…for those who are in Zazzle, maybe like me,you may feel like a small fish in the ocean,so tiny and lost there at times. Ujean visited my gallery many times and often gave me encouraging comments and suggestions,enough fuel from her to help me last another 3 months,haha! There’s something about March… all over the world, it is the season of change… spring… autumn… whether seeds are twitching in dar…
There’s something about March… all over the world, it is the season of change… spring… autumn… whether seeds are twitching in dark earth with the sensation of new beginnings, or leaves are turning crimson and decorating the earth in fallen red stars, change is on the wind in March wherever you are. You can taste it. So it was that this time last year, in March, my fingertips were twitching with the sensation of somethin’-a-brewin’... I’d had enough of my imagination lying dormant in an ambiguous yearning with a hunger for something that I just could not identify. I’d had enough of scribbling in margins, I wanted more. So I went where all good detectives go to find the answers – Google. And after joining a few writing centres, signing up for newsletters and entering a few pieces in competitions, I stumbled upon Red Bubble. I joined immediately, ga-ga over the never-ending pots of paint and albums of photographs… and words! Writers, writers everywhere. I was instantly greedy… devouring words with shameless manners. My hunger started to abate as I took my fill… and one of the first delectable morsels I came across was none other than LittleHelen. I skipped and hopped and wriggled with glee through the imagery of her scrumptious mouth-watering heart and then took my time unwrapping her words – she will forever have a field of tulips all her own in my soul for being the woman who introduced me to Good Morning Girl, one of my favourite treasures. I wrote to her immediately and thus began one of the moons in my sky revolving around the glorious light that is Ms Hells Bells. Three seasons later, it’s March again. In my world, the leaves are turning scarlet, the crispness of change is in the air… and when Helen recently inducted me into her Hottest 100, I realised how much change this ruby-coloured bubbly place has brought to my life in the last twelve months. To go from marvelling at Helen’s sassiness and creativity afar to being one of her interview subjects (a delight to experience) was just another humble reminder of how rewarding wearing Red Bubble boots can be. So, I have to say, with all my cards on the table and my heart open and bare, to all of you bubbly lovely pretties who have spent moments of your time reading my words and responding to my work, propelling me further and further along my writing tightrope, thank you for being part of my year of change. A bouquet of ruby stars for you all. And Hells Bells, for believing in me and cultivating me and encouraging me to grow and love and roar, and for being so intuitive and creative… and interviewing me… you gorgeous lioness… thank you.
