Acrylic On Canvas Concept: Ophelia having some solitude, she’s meditating on what love is all about…love between lovers, between friends, between parents and children, between teacher and students, between owners and their pets and etc….the greatest love is when one is willing to lay down his/her life(others-seeking and not self-seeking) for another person whom he/she loves. While painting this, it also reminds me of a famous chinese love tale, “The Butterfly Lovers”....thus a pair of butterflies. It is a tragic tale about how a couple could only find their love bliss after they pass on and both became butterflies.I’m contented to have found my bliss :D View my other “Love Meditations” creations at my Zazzle store:

Title thanks to my husband… I was stumped and when I asked my husband for a suggestion for the title he said the daisies were natures beauty and shone amongst a gloomy winters day, which to him is the essence of winter. PLEASE VIEW LARGE This is one of the most peaceful shots I took. Thus the illusive and loving Wendy Slee has been called by these very leaves to meet them. / Note: within minuets of the viewing Wendy channeled this poem and I knew then when you follow how you feel all becomes like a bright light of Love. given to whimsy or fanciful notions; capricious. I totally wanted to stretch the box here… the box I am always in when it comes to photography. Once again, this photo isn’t perfect… but I am glad I did something different and spent more time thinking about how I wanted it to look. I would like to try to do something more like this more often. It is fun! Yeah- it is fairytaleish… unrealistic… but that was what I was going for!

Captured on 11/21/09 at 7:21 am in Anderson, California, the sun was trying so hard to shine through the fog…it finally made it after several attempts…..the fog was so dense at one time that our back fence was hardly visible….I love the golden yellow glow as the sun shines through the fog.
