What Love is?. Countless numbers of people, from young to old, from Atheist to Christian, from all walks of life, have asked this question. Many have pondered this question at one time or another and come up with many explanations to What is Love. Some say I am in love, or I feel love, or I must be in love. Love is more that just a feeling, more than just a desire, and often Love is not what that person feels at all. It is my intent here to address and answer the question what is love?. What love is Not. 1. Love is not a strong sexual feeling or physical attraction to someone or something. 2. Love is not something that dies after some time, or switches on and off. 3. Love never seeks to destroy, wound or hurt anyone. 4. Love never blames or condemns. 5. There are those who say they Love God, yet in his name murder and kill men, woman and Children, with Gun, Bullet and bombs. This is not Love. I am sure many readers can add their own views and beliefs of what love is not. But above are just a few of them. In our world today, so many teenagers become pregnant at such a young age, Children having Children, and often the father is nowhere to be seen. Many Say it was because they loved each other and it just happened. This is not love. Marriages and relationships that many thought were build on Love have broken in pieces. Good friends who say they loved each other have fallen apart and in some cases bitter feelings of hurt and resentment linger. Muslim extremists Claim to Love God, [Allah] Yet they do not know God or his Love. / The Church throughout History have massacred millions of people all in the name of the God whom they confess to love. At the Alter, men and woman take their marriage vows before God and the congregation. They promise to LOVE, honour and Obey each other. / Yet a little later in their marriage, they part for many reasons. But one reason I believe stands out more than any other and that is, They have not known real Love. The excitement of the intimate times of sharing each others bodies has become not so exciting anymore. The respect and Patience they ones had for each other has almost died. Some look for this in anothers whom they often call LOVERS. But True Love really never dies. / If they had real love before they married, If they had known what Real Love is, and the giver of real Love, Many today would still be together, and Children would not be caught up in the hurt. A NOTE ON MARRIAGE. Marriage is an institution created by God. It is a Holy Union where two people join together as one and pledge their lives to each other. Its not something to go through to satisfy man made laws. It is certainly not something to go through so as to have a big day and invite lots of friends and family. It is much more that this. Marriage is something more important that this. Although these qualities can make a wonderful day to be remembered, it is Much, Much more than all this. Marriage is a Holy union between a man and a woman. But before you can enter into this union with each other and God, You must first Know God. You need a relationship with God, and to Understand His Love. You need to experience his Love in your heart, and understand How God Loves. What Depths God went to show you his love and the cost to him. / When you have been touched by the God Love, then you will truly know What Love Is. Love is Power! When a man and a woman who have received Jesus Christ into their lives and made him their first love Stand before their God, They stand before him with Jesus Love in their Hearts. / *, speaks of the Born again person. God has spread his love abroad in your heart by Christ Jesus his son. So now you have His Love in you. This cannot be said of those who do not know God or has not personally Acknowledged Jesus as their saviour and Lord. NOTE. In spite of many not knowing God personally and his Love, when they take Holy Vows, God still Loves them and often Blesses that union, with Grace and Peace. Often this Couple find God and his love through Marriage. I am not saying here that all marriages are doomed, because people were ignorant to God and his Love. He is a God of Supreme Love. HOW DO I LOVE?. (Deuteronomy 10:12). And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul. This was the Old Testament commandment given by God to his people. To Love God with all your heart and with all thy soul. But man broke this covenant with God. He went after other gods and loved himself and the ungodly pleasures more that God. He chose hate, war, material riches and to love himself and others more than God. So Man broke this covenant. / Nothing much has changed today as we look around us. But Something has changed that has changed the lives of countless peoples all over the world. God sent His Son into the world. Man Cannot love God or each other in the way God wants them to. it’s the same with Salvation. You cannot earn it, or work for it. It is a Gift from God. You cannot Live by Gods word without having The Holy Spirit living within you, and the acceptance of Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. *You must understand the depth of Gods love for you. You need to understand The Sacrifice God made for you, so you could experience his Love in your Heart. / No living soul can Love with perfect love until Gods Perfect Love has been shed abroad in their hearts. Without Jesus, we cannot know what real Love is. HOW DID GOD REVEAL HIS PERFECT LOVE?. / (1 John 4:8) He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. I need to make it clear here that humans can show Love. It is something God has placed in us all. It is A choice we make. We limit at times our love to others. But what I am talking about in this message is not the human love with its limits. I am talking about perfect Love. [Agape Love-Gods love. Perfect love without limits. / (1 John 4:16) And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. / John 3:16-17 / (16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. / (17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. Because of Gods perfect love towards us, he sent his son, Jesus, to take our sins, sicknesses and diseases upon himself, and be punished in our stead, so that through his death and resurrection, he could place his Love in our heart. To all who receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they are born again. A new creation 2 Corinthians 5:17. All their past sins have been washed away in the blood Jesus shed, as an atonement for sin. The Moment you ask Jesus into your heart, you receive his forgiveness, and GODS PERFECT LOVE. As You continue to follow him, read his words, pray and trust him, his love grows inside you. It will empower you to love, those who speak all manner of evil against you, those to lie about you, those who have abused you and hurt you. Instead of hatred and bitterness you will desire that Jesus will save and change them as he did you. You will find yourself praying in tears and overwhelming love for them. Even God himself has said to you in JOB 22:30. “I will change all those for whom you intercede” [Amplified Bible]. When you are tired and run out of steam, you will find yourself compelled by Gods Perfect love, to going that extra mile to help someone in need! When a Son, Daughter, husband, wife, friend or anyone hurts you, you will not retaliate with bitter wounding words, because God Loves them and his love in you will indeed empower you to be silent and pray in your heart, knowing that God will bring a change in their lives just like he promised you in Job 22:30 [Amp bible]. LOVE IS. / 1. Pure and unselfish. It never seeks its own comfort or pleasure. 2. Love is kind and compassionate. 3. Love is patient and longsuffering. 4. Love is Considerate and Merciful. / 5. Love is warm and never cold. 6. Perfect love is God, For God is the author of Love. When God Allowed his son to be tied to a beating post, and receive the lashes of cruel whips. It was Love for you. When he experienced every sickness and disease upon his body it was so that you can be free from all sickness and disease. It was Because he loves you and wants you to be healthy. When they plucked the hairs from Jesus face, when they spate upon him, mocked him and punched him, he endured it because he loved you with perfect love. When They laid him down upon a cross and drove nails into his hands and feet, It was because he loved you. / When they lifted him up on that cross and he hung ther nine hours it was because he truly loved you and he know that he must pay te price for your salvation. He did not want you to be punished for the sin in your life so he in love took your punishment. THIS IS LOVE!. Yes my Friend, THIS IS LOVE!. It Was Love that took Jesus to the cross. It was Love that held him there and not nails. It was love that satan desired to kill, but he failed. Because Love rose from the grave and now that Same Love lives in your heart. THIS IS LOVE! Until you have this love sown in your heart by receiving Jesus as your Lord, You will never know how to love Gods way. I will close with the words of an old hymn. “O love that will not let me go, I give you back the life I owe, / That it might Richer, fuller be”. Receive Jesus today and learn to love Gods way. I was asked recently by my good friend Rick Gustafson / to explain to him some of the thoughts, feelings and symbolism behind Geisha Girl which i did for him. He was very pleased with my explaination and felt it should be part of the writing to accompany the image. I have placed it in my journal as i don’t wish to offend anyone with the slightly sexual content. Geisha Girl. The girl is sat in a low lit room she is surrounded and bathed entirely by darkness. Black for me if you remember from The Secret Garden is a symbol of deeper darker desires and sensual passions that cannot be seen but are known only in the inner self. The fact that she is surrounded by blackness is symbolic of her inner deeper desires coming to the surface and surrounding her totally until they are all she can see before her. The cloth is also black and wrapped around her, overflowing her, surrounding her, taking over the pure white skin symbolic of purity and innocence. She is seated in a submissive position with her arms raised and crossed arms, open hands all figurative of submission and vulnerability, surrender, waiting, embracing, passion, yearning and anticipation of the deeper darker desires that are closing in. But she wants it, she eagerly desires it, anticipates it and wants to embrace it…….she is waiting for it to overwhelm her to take away the responsibility and to overpower her. How she yearns….deeply, deeply yearns, how she waits for its arrival, the long awaited long desired consummation. Her hair is not pinned up, it is free, symbolizing she is not inhibited in anyway. She lifts her hair as a further act of submission to reveal the whiteness of her skin to the viewer…..to the darkness, to the one who waits in the shadows to possess her. She is willing, ready and waiting but she must wait for him but he will only step out of the shadows when he is ready, when he decides and she must be patient. She yearns for his control, she feels safe with him. She trusts him that he will love her and treat her correctly and always with respect and she in turn will obey him. Her neck is a place where life flows through her veins she is offering to him her self and her life. It is also her erogenous zone; she is inviting him to step forward and to kiss her in this intimate place, to embrace her sexuality……to mark her as his. Her shape is feminine, full of curves and inviting, she is unclothed revealing her nakedness, her readiness – nothing hidden away which shows her genuineness and honesty. She longs to allow her deeper darker desires to overtake her and yield to his touch but she sits patiently waiting. She must wait. The ribbon. The ribbon has special meaning. It is again black – the symbol for deeper darker desires and passion. It is tied around her neck and hangs loose down her back. She desires no necklace to adorn her neck, no jewels, no material gain…no she desires something even greater, something more precious that what this world can offer. The ribbon is around her neck where it can be picked up and held by the one in the shadows and she can be lead voluntarily to the place of passion and consummation. It is her collar. It is her symbol of ownership and of being owned. She loves her collar and the one who owns her. Her collar is her visible sign of her submissiveness for her and to her owner. She can touch and feel the representation of the one who owns her anytime she feels vunerable or alone and know he is there in the shadows, he will look after her. But she must wait. The collar forms a circle and when placed around the submissive’s neck is akin to a ring, the symbol of belonging, love and devotion. In order to receive her collar the submissive must first raise her arms above her head and cross them. In Geisha Girl she is waiting…..the ribbon is a merely a symbol of her long awaited collar.

I have wrote this in response to a wonderful Bmail from a Sister wanting to know More about the work God has called me into and about the People we help. I pray It will encourage you, stir up your faith in God. I first went to Uganda in 1994 for three weeks, but the lord really touched my heart while there and I worked in and through me, so I ended up staying just over three months. I worked there until 2004 spending three months a year on several visits. I worked and lived with street children. I was the first ever white person to be accepted within their dens. Truly God opened my eyes and that of te world to the suffering and deprivation these abandoned children went through each day. Many were indeed aids orphans, others run away from home because of Physical and sexual abuse. Older street boys would take the younger girls as soon as they came on the street and protect and provide food. They were sex slaves. Many became pregnant as young as 12 years old and sadly many died from child birth and AIDS. I then recruited a professional team of investigators and researchers, which I was head, and we spent many weeks walking through the Rakki sub region. I knew from spending time with the thousands of street children, that many were not aids orphans and that there were other reasons why they ended up on the streets. So we wanted to challenge the lies and false reports being issued by the World Health Organisations, UNICEF, UNHCR and other charities and NGO’s. As we went through many villages, we saw whole villages where only children lived. Their Parents, Grandparents had all died from AIDS. Children as young as 8 years old were trying without much social skills to care for younger children. We interviewed many children. We also spoke to local chiefs and surviving parents. There we unearthed many Child sacrifices and learned about the tribal ways. Example: When a Brother dies, the surviving brother inherits the dead brother’s wife, children and nay possessions he had. He sleeps with the dead brothers wife, Infects his own wife and it does not stop there. Often the brother’s female children will face rape and abuse. Beaten and used as house girls, many run away to the towns and cities. Our Detailed report was shown to the director of UNHCR, and I was invited to speak to The UN and address these issues. They agreed to the findings, made many promises, and never honoured one. But while doing our research we under Gods anointing reached many thousand for Jesus. Many were healed. Churches were planted and today 2009, almost all harmful tribal practices has been destroyed and replaced with new life in Jesus. So my Sister, this was my firs experience in Africa. When I returned home in 1995, I formed a British Charity called Philadelphia Mission. I wanted this charity to be very different to the many in existence. It was born from Prayer and Gods vision. We would never take a single penny from ko0ney raised to pay for salaries, overinflated reports and research, running costs adn would never advertise by publishing fancy glossy brochures, from any money we could raise to help these precious people. We would trust God completely to bring people to join us and build an army of prayer warriors from all around the world. People who had a heart to Pray, to give their time and skills, to sow money into helping the poor. Without a salary God has sustained me, and met my needs and that of my family. It’s been a hard path, but I thank God he is truly faithful. I the early days I used to just take a few snapshots of the mission work. Years past, and I was almost at the point of giving up. The financial burden was heavy. Frustration set in. My wife adn I were putting all our loose coins in a big tin box, and saving them towards the cost of my next mission. A few precious people would give me money to buy cloths adn things for the children when i was out in Africa. I would spend 12-14 hours a day working making contacts, sending out letters of appeal to many Churches in the UK, and struggling to pay the mailing costs, yet seeing so little progress. Then on the morning of 25th August 2006, after I had returned from my first mission to India, I was praying in my nearby park. I actually said to God I was hurting for these suffering poor, adn I thanked him for using me to Win many to him, and for him opening the blind eyes, deaf ears, healing aids sufferers, and raising cripple and disabled people to new health and life. I was truly thankful, that God should choose me, an chronic Alcoholic, and one who was in witchcraft, wash me in his blood, baptise me in the Power of the Holy Ghost, Change my life completely and send me to the poor. Yet I was hurting. The sound of African sick and poor children calling my name and crying for food and shelter would wake me up. I felt so iniquitous not being able to get others to sow money into the charity and help me and the small team to provide cloths, hoes, seeds, training in skills and trades and school fees, so these children could live full productive and healthy lives. When I would be going back to Africa, I would drop little hints in conversation with Church brethren and indeed all that I knew. Only a small few would give. Many would pray, but few give. So on the morning of 25th August 2006, while praying in the park, The Holy Spirit spoke to me about Gideon. I have read about him several times in the bible. But The Holy Spirit laid it so much on my heart that I went home and read about Gideon. The Holy Spirit showed me of Gideon’s lack and he asked God for help. He asked God to build him an army. Before all his efforts and that of the army of Israel were not making the success he had hoped for. So The Lord said brings all your great and skilled me to the river next day. Those who drink the water like dogs, send them back, those who cup their hands and drink, they are the ones I choose for you. These few handpicked men that God chose won many battles and secured land and subdued kingdoms. It was then I changed. I wept and asked God to choose me an army, from all around the world. / I said “Father you already know which ones you want to join in this your work of love. You know the ones who know how to pray right and receive from you. You know the ones who you want to bless and make a blessing. You O lord know those who want to give but don’t know who to trust or where to give”. I prayed and was assured by God he would grant what I requested. I honestly did not know how he was going to do this, as I did not know any. / The Following Sunday My wife Audrey said that there was a African Sister in Church and she was asking what I did for a living. My wife laughed and said he serves God in Africa. This sister said she would like to come and see me. Now, my wife and this dear sister did not know that I was ready to give up, nor that God had inspired me to ask him to personally build me an army. The following week the doorbell rang and there was Sister Saidi, the sister from my wife’s church. She introduced herself and explained that Audrey my wife had spoken to her about my missionary work. As She came into my living room, she was so taken by the photographs of African children on my wall. She began to weep and sing to God in Tongues, the heavenly Language, and the Holy Spirit leapt within me and Sister Saidi at the same time. That day God added his first handpicked soldier to the Philadelphia Mission Charity. She told me about how God had saved her in Nigeria, and brought her to the United Kingdom, where she was a senior Midwife. How she had with Gods care and guidance a small mission centre in Kujama. How she longed for God to bring someone with the heart for the poor to join with her and strengthen her hand. God joined us together and we are working in his grace and Love to meet the needs of the extreme poor in remote and isolated villages in Nigeria. It was shortly after this God provided a little extra money for me from a dear sister in Christ. She said it was so I could buy a good camera and be able to take better quality photographs of the children. I bought my first and only DSLR a Canon EOS400D and a few lenses. Her name was Pastor Harriet Slaigh. / Sister Saidi is founder of [Salama Health and gospel outreach Mission in Nigeria]. She invited me to join her on Mission home to minister the word of God, and perhaps take some photographs of the needs of these suffering people. She even paid my airfare. I went with her and God sure did confirm his word with Thousands of villagers coming to know Jesus. Witchdoctors were saved. Muslim villages turned to Christ. Many were healed from all manner of sicknesses and diseases. Praise God! / When I returned home from Mission to Nigeria, there was still the question in my mind, Lord, I need more money to build the school. Drill wells and help these people. I remember saying, You see them sick and dying. Lord they are dying because they do not have clean water and not enough food. I for a moment overlooked the fact that God is true to his word and does honour faith in his ability to do what he says. / I was browsing through the internet a few days after I came home and came across Redbubble.com. I had not seen such a site before. It was free to join and I could share with millions all over the world my photographs of these precious suffering people. I could share with them what we are doing to help them. Tell many of their daily struggles just to survive. I was so excited. My heart was filled with expectation. Here before me was a God appointed opportunity at last to share with the world and become the voice of the poor in remote villages. I knew God led me to Redbubble. It was not by chance or an accident. I was on the internet for years, but never seen such a site, nor thought it would be of service to God. / It took me weeks as I uploaded each photo. Little Grace who was my first ever evangelist touched so many lives here on Redbubble.com. people commented, Prayed and felt her painas she battled Intestinal worm infection. Precious friends I met her on Redbubble donated money for medicines to help her and other children. God was now building me the army I asked him for. Oh how I praise him. I love God, and He is so precious to me. Today I have Hundreds of precious friends her on Redbubble, who encourage me, Pray for me and the Children in Africa and India. Some donate beautiful art to raise money. Others donate via our Charity Mission Website. Others are doing other things to help these precious people. God has chosen them, moved them, blessed them and made and is making them a blessing to his work in Africa and India. / Many are experiencing the joy of sowing money seed into a Childs life and future. Little Grace would be dead now, if It was not for God moving them with his compassion and love to send the money for lifesaving medicines. The Twins in Tunga/Zuga would certainly have died, because their Grandmother was no longer able to feed or care for them. But God touched the heart of a precious lady called Sharon all the way in Australia, who sowed money, not just once, but many times to help rescue them. Now they are living in our Mission centre in Kujama. Nigeria. Oh I Thank you God! Evan as I share this with you, God is touching hearts and lives. Please pray for me and our mission team. I am so blessed to have you as friends and you are a blessing to me and Gods work among the poor in remote villages in Africa and the Indian Gypsies. Its fast approaching My time to return to our Mission Center in Kujama, Nigeria. This is the biggest gospel outreach that I and the Africa team have ever done. It will be intense as we share the Love of God with many in the villages we have a ministry in. but we are this time going back into some of the Islamic villages we have evangelised before, with awesome testimonies of conversions , healing and real miracles. This time I am going into new Islamic villages, Two villages have been so moved by our love and giving of a Honda Water pump and tools, that the Chief and elders have asked us to have a special Prayer crusade in their village. There is however some Opposition from a few extremist muslin teachers, and Kaduna state is run by Sharia Law. Churches and Missions in the area have come under attack. But God has spoken to me and confirmed his word, that I go. He said I will as I was before be with you and no harm will come to me or the team. I will never doubt Gods confirmed word. I am not afraid, as Gods Favour on my life and his Holy Spirit causes even those who are used by the devil, to submit to the Lordship of Christ. / Please do Pray for me, the team and the people. I shall be going to Tunga/Zuga village where “Grace ” lives, and will be staying there several days. This is a full two day journey and most of that is off road. Please pray. We have raised some funds through some here on RB who have made wonderful donations. Others have purchased cards. We can now purchase Hoes, new Seeds, 3 bales of Clothing and water filter straws. I would love to be able to purchase 6 months supply of children’s Multi-Vitamins for the Children, Pregnant and Breast feeding mums. So please seek the Lord about this and where you can please help and pray. The cost of 3000 high grade Multi-vitamins is $310 US dollars. We purchase them from a wonderful sister in Christ in Abuja, who runs a Pharmacy adn she is also a Pastors wife. She really does give us a massive Discount. I will be also holding night crusades in other villages. We really do need a vehicle of our own to carry all our equipment. I believe God is going to speak to someone who has one, or a dealer and they will donate it to us. Without a 4 wheel drive It is very difficult. But a dear friend has agreed again to lend us his Toyota Landcruser. I will have lots of new photographs and Video to share with you all, and I am looking Forward to seeing teh Twins and the children. Sadly since my last visit last November 7 of our children have died. We could not help them as we had not enough money or medical supplies. In Tung/Zuga we could not get to them as we don’t have our own off road vehicle. But I am encouraged and know God is increasing our equipment and ability to do much more, both Spiritually and Practically. Isaiah 54:17 But no weapon will be able to hurt you; you will have an answer for all who accuse you. I will defend my servants and give them victory.” The LORD has spoken. / Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
