Three years hold kissing mom’s belly
I’ve always loved Margaret Widdemer’s poem, “The Watcher.” I’ve coupled it with an image I took of a steeple of a very old church in Houston, Texas. I hope that those who have suffered the loss of a mother will find comfort in this photo. My mother is still alive and I am grateful for her; I created this image for those whose mothers are no longer with them and who suffer loneliness, especially during the holidays and on birthdays and anniversaries of death.

Was taking shots of mom and baby (to be posted later), when dad came along and stuck his head into the frame. One shot. Just darkened the already dark background a bit to lose the detail! Weird comp, but I like it anyway. Other Categories / Animals / Apes / Architecture / Baby Animals / Bears / Birds / Big Cats / Elephants / Fish / Insects / Macro / Nature / Reptiles
This yearling sea lion still had the attention of mom when he came to shore. The care was evident as she nuzzled his face. The parents among us know that no matter how old they get, or how far away they move we never stop worrying, we never stop loving and we never stop caring! This image is dedicated to all the Moms out there who never stop caring. This image has been used a Mothers Day card and as a card for folks who have lost a pet. Thanks fot looking!
my tribute to the relationship of mother and child.
A baby orang-utan gazes loving at its mother, awwwww sweet.

Detail of the tote bag my 2 years old girl painted for Mother’s day. I’m very proud to wear my present. I also think the detail looks really artistic itself. !!
This was taken at the Wild Life Ranch in San Antonio Texas. I am so amazed how people paid an arm and a leg to enter this place only to ran about and expect the aminals to come to them. I sat for 20 mins in one spot and just observed the aminals. It was not just by chance. Animals shots take alot of work. Although some people can get lucky.
