This photo was taken on a trip down to Inverloch beach (Victoria, Australia)... on that day the sea and air were so quiet we were like standing still in time… Thank you so much for the plethora of comments everyone, I am glad this has touched so many people :) All proceeds from this image are donated in memory of my little boy Noah to the / Fanconi Anemia Research Fund. / Fanconi Anaemia (FA) is a rare inherited (genetic) disease, leading to progressive bone marrow failure, chromosome fragility and high cancer susceptibility. This for you Terez , my lovely daughter , she died when she was nearly 15 …... Thank you my friends your comments and support mean a lot to me. I had this pain bottled up in me so so long… but I knew and hoped with time passing things will change and turn out good… I was right, things started to unfold last week and I could just see and feel it. Working with this wonderful model just inspired me and brought all those feelings up from my heart, bones and my most inner part. Memories. / All I behold now you have gone, / besides photographs and diaries. / I stare at you and you are there, / besides me once more. Turning over, / another page lets me slowly learn / to accept this new place in time / where I find myself surrounded / by loneliness and sorrow. This is not, / of course how you would want me to be. / Were you with me now you would hold me, / stroke my face and comfort me. / Loving me, happily. Acrylic On Canvas A piece that was inspired about watching Wong Kar Wai’s film In The Mood For Love, set in 60s Hong Kong. A story about forbidden love and in the story, the female and male leads shared some special moments in room 2046 – writing martial novels :D The chinese title of this movie is Hua Yang Nian Hua. The Chinese title, Huayang Nianhua (translated in the subtitles as “Full Bloom” but more accurately meaning “those wonderful varied years”), is more suggestive of period nostalgia and the Shanghai association, pointing to an iridescent, kaleidoscopic age of bygone elegance and diversity. / You can view and purchase my other “Hua Yang Nian Hua” creations from my Zazzle Gallery: / /
