Even at two years old, Lucy knows how to go for the kill. Of course, it doesn’t look like her little brother minds too much either. In a few years, we’re going to have to start keeping an eye on these two. At least we know they love each other.

Well, I am so excited to announce that my dear sister carlotta peacock and myself have just launched the Group – Sisters in Arms – WooHoo!!! Just finished working on this mandala last night and wrote a poem, so besides our logo this will be my contribution to a launching piece… Libran stars arisen as destiny called my chosen birth / Bloodlines from two worlds collide as I seek self worth Atlantean division between bloods’ continental divide / Bridged with similar Nature spirits, as divinity’s guide Celtic roots predominate with Gaia’s inner red glow / Certain myths resonate a fire inside – this truth I know Tsalagi is a true blood path, as I walk upon homeland / differences the same, I feel – relating to a scheme so grand Deep within, DNA’s sacred spiral of lineage spins / likened to sisters inside, two souls and colors akin Balance and Healing the key in this peaceful merge / while accepting these tribal characters, as they converge Related in mindful choices and affective change – in hopes / Of Aquarian consciousness awakening love’s kaleidoscope. tkrosevear 2/5/2009 You raise me up

Playing with another mandala, in between working/publishing a JOURNAL manuscript, I was torn for naming and lacking for a story to accompany… / Low and behold, my sister Sally Omar posted an amazing writing called Dancing Rainbows, which in words and feelings matched it to a tee. So without further ado… I danced with a rainbow / and it danced with me / I realized what love was / and I was finally free a breeze joined us / the birds sang their song / I realized what grace was / nothing was wrong the angels were humming / the doves took flight / my life flashed before me / I didn’t sleep that night I thought of the trials / the tribulations I’ve seen / and then there was the beauty / mixed in between a heart is a heart / meant to understand / a soul is a soul / please hold my hand travel through beauty / turn your head from hate / we are the masters / of our own fate. SHE IS LIKE A GIGANTIC ICE CREAM / I SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM !! / We used to live together in the same room / just like in India / or Mexico / in the villages / I was her Auntie and I lived in her room! / I remember I felt so odd telling anyone / in America about that!! / She was 10 and at night / we would giggle like kids / and her father, my brother / would come in and say / “Hey you two, quiet down” / and we would and then we would giggle / and I would say / “Alanna, / Next life I wanna be your sister”, / and she would Say / “Auntie L / Me too” / Then we would tell each other something / really funny / and then we would laugh again / but then / we would fall asleep in a room / that smelled like love / and I think that America is / behind the times.
