If we behave always as self-centered human beings, preoccupied with the anxiety to preserve the entity of the self and gratify every wish of the self, there are tensions, conflicts, and clashes among us. If the human race had looked upon aggression as desirable, natural, glorifiable, we would not have proceeded from primitive state of human existence to the creation of a society. There is and there will be a conscious, organized effort towards restraining, curbing, controlling this violent, aggressive tendency. The direction of human civilization is not from violence to more violence, but violence towards less violence, towards absence of violence, towards peace. Peace requires a different perspective of life, it requires purification of perception. Life itself is divine, it is something sacred, and reverence for life is the perfume of religiosity. So peace is not only non-war, or non-aggression. It is moving from a fragmentary, partial, or compartmental perspective of life to a holistic perspective of life where cooperation replaces confrontation.
A torch, a bible, a cross…....and one imporant fact. Jesus loves you.

WARNING: Viewer Discretion Strongly Adviced! This is my first wake-up call in my domestic Violence series. On my old art account I created this series and got quite attention for my work. But what is my goal with that? To manifest with my art that world peace starts at home and you can only end Domestiv Violence when you face the issue and cannot look away from this rapidly growing problem. Could you look away from this artwork? Does this completely caught your attention? It should since those are worlds millions of people hear right now in this very moment and even worse. Did you know: - Around the world, at least one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused during her lifetime - The most rapid growth in domestic relations caseloads is occurring in domestic violence filings. Between 1993 and 1995, 18 of 32 states with three year filing figures reported an increase of 20 percent or more. - In a national survey of more than 6,000 American families, 50 percent of the men who frequently assaulted their wives also frequently abused their children. Slightly more than half of female victims of intimate violence live in households with children under age 12. Studies suggest that between 3.3 – 10 million children witness some form of domestic violence annually. And this is not even the tip of the Iceberg, those are just a few noted statistics, but it is fact that this is not even the half of all “happening” cases around the world. What drove me to make this series? A lot. Someone very close and myself come out of violent families. My life long I have been treated like the sun wouldn’t shine for me too. Years long I have been hid from reality and locked in darkness, I lost my childhood and my youth through domestic violence and I can say that today strong like a rock. My life today is a lot better, my wife gives me the love I never had and felt and I give her the same back in my adornment and service. Unfortunately many woman/children/men go through this hell this very moment but the only problem politicians care about is to build up the nuke stock in their rocket facilities. They rather care to invest more money in war and weaponary as to support families, women and children who deserve a chance to live a happy life like our human and religious right tells us. I want to catch your attention with this image to say to you as a brother of this world, that you have the same rights to live as any other person, your gender, your creed or race doesn’t matter since we are all the same human, the same valuable and same unique and under the face of God are we all the same. Our lifetime is important and how we recieve our family, friends and even our neighbours will not be unseen, the generations will copy your behaviour and treat others the same. So…could you look away? I have a major plan with thi series since I would love to expand this as big as I can (even public plans), the next days will crystalize if I can move someones hearts or not. So, if you look right now at this artwork, and got some free time, leave a comment, and tell me how you feel about it. I can’t and won’t look away.

I realised that I could use this image to say a lot about how grateful I am to be saved, and indeed I am. It’s been 30 years of freedom for me….not that I haven’t had some struggles…I’ve had plenty…but I know in Whom I have believed, and that makes life amazing, even when things aren’t quite so bright. When I feel as though the bottom has dropped out from under me….I know His loving arms are always there to support and lift me. I had so much to feel guilty about…my life was a mess….then Jesus stepped in and nothing will ever be the same again. Oh Happy Day :-)
another revision , resizing etc … hopefully this one is better than the original :) / Detail / /
Jenny and Jude, who are both saints in their own intentional and accidental ways. My Dad passed those lyrics onto me, and my sister Kit reminded me of them recently, when it was prudent.
Lord of the Indian Jungles, The Royal Bengal Tiger, Portrait The Bengal Tiger, or Royal Bengal is a subspecies of tiger primarily found in Bangladesh, India, and also Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, Myanmar and southern Tibet. It is the most common tiger subspecies, living in a variety of habitats, including grasslands, subtropical and tropical rain forests, scrub forests, wet and dry deciduous forests, and mangroves. Since the early 1990s the tiger population has begun to decline again, due to habitat destruction and large-scale poaching for tiger skins and bones. The Bangladeshi government is trying hard to show the world that the tiger is thriving in Bangladesh, often using controversial techniques like taking molds of paw prints to track tiger populations. It was recently discovered that tigers have been wiped out from one of Project Tiger’s leading sanctuaries, Sariska. The current population of wild Bengal tigers in the Indian subcontinent is now estimated to be between 1,300 and 1,500 which is less than half of the previous estimate of 3,000-4,500 tigers. This estimate is based on a state-by-state census conducted in India in 2001. Today’s reports show there are fewer than 200 tigers left in the wild. Habitat losses and the extremely large scale incidences of poaching are serious threats to species survival. Poachers kill tigers not only for their pelts, but also for body parts used to make various traditional East Asian medicines. Other factors contributing to their loss are urbanization and revenge killing. Farmers blame tigers for killing cattle and will shoot them. Poachers also kill tigers for their bones and teeth to make medicines that are alleged to provide the tiger’s strength. The hunting for Chinese medicine and fur is the biggest cause of decline of the tigers. In India, retired Indian Army personnel are being recruited to save the Bengal tiger from poaching gangs.
