You are worthy / Oh my child / You are loved
A number of years ago I was given the words to write and the tune to sing to a person in a church who didn’t feel he was worth anything very much at all, and definitely unworthy of God’s love. But almost as soon as I’d written it and definitely after I’d played it I knew it was not a song for a moment, but was intended for more than this. There are times when we all feel unworthy and fall short of God’s love. Fortunately his grace is sufficient. But we/I don’t always remember that. I feel we all need to be reminded that we are worthy of the Lord’s love.
