  • Beautiful Life, Beautiful Me
    by nirvanavisions

Back to the magic of life, / I had forgotten your beauty, / Your shimmer, your light. / Had you forgotten mine?

When we re-emerge from grief, depression or even just the business of life, we often forget how beautiful we are. When we re-connect with nature, with its’ sheer awe, I sometimes wonder if she herself has missed us, as much as we have missed her… maybe she is in awe of our beauty too! This writing is an extract taken from my new coffee table book “The Art of Inspiration” / / http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/360712

  • Awakened
    by DravenStudios

Senses awakened, awareness awakened, knowledge awakened and now I can see where it will lead before pouring my soul into a well that has …

A journey that has taken me sometime to get to this understanding. It is regarding choices in relationships and those that are emotionally not ready or have other issues that lead to the end result of breaking up. It is a painful and hard journey and I can say it is worth it in the end. I cannot say that it all changes once you get the “tools” in emotional growth or that suddenly you find a soul mate or soul mates, as maybe the case, but you do find yourself. That is the biggest reward and I think in that the rest may come.

We wear masks that keep others from knowing who we really are, though we yearn for someone who truly “gets” us.

just ramblings that go through my mind on this whole experience of being human..

This is another piece about human nature. I truly believe that humans have always sold out on their true essence. We act from what is comfortable not what we know to be right. This can change but only when we swap manipulation and protection for full transparency.

  • CELEBRATING SCARS - By my brave sister Pauline Dewberry
    by Anthony Hedger

One morning when I was at my local hospital, something was being administered through the Hickman Line and I screamed in pain….

Dear all, I just wanted to share with you a short story that my sister, Pauline wrote for a Competition for the BBC, My Story which has since been published on the BBC website. It is called CELEBRATING SCARS It is to do with her battle with leukaemia but all will become clearer if you read this painfully moving and sometimes witty story. I wanted to share it with you because I know a lot of you, me included have our own scars we want to hideaway but if we were only to share them they might not be as bad as we think they are. Just a thought. I don’t normally beg for votes or ask for them if people want to vote then they will. However, it would be so cool if you do like the story Pauline has written to click on the picture of a hand with a thumbs up saying I LIKE THIS. The more votes Pauline gets she could be on the TV if she wins so please get your friends to have a read and vote. / Thank you so very much. Click here for the BBC site to vote for this story
