My day started great…. / I spent the afternoon in Spanish Harlem with a dear friend. / < Bubbling, chatting and sharing. / Then I decided to go home, but I wanted to get some pictures of Central Park at sunset. The Elephant Nature Park, Chiang Mai The lady on the right was blinded by her previous owner and made to continue working. On arrival to the park another elephant approached her, seemingly knowing she was blind, proceeded to caress and touch her. Despite her disability she was befriended immediately and taken in by an existing family group.

Worsley park, located in Conception Bay South in Newfoundland, is a lovely spot to spend an afternoon or evening. You can sit on the grass and enjoy the lush scenery, feed the ducks, or go for a walk across the rocks. On the near side there is a lake, and on the far side is the ocean. This is one of my favorite parks to visit. / Taken with my Canon 450D, using an ISO of 100, a focal length of 18mm, f/6.3, and a shutter speed of 1/500 sec. Lightly edited using Lightroom 2.
