  • On the 12th day of May 2008 I witnessed (along with thousands of others) a perfect circle in the form of a rainbow around the sun at about noon-time at a beautiful place in the Philippines. Completely perplexed, stunned and amazed at this extraordinary and divine sight, I HAD to create this artwork. Im not sure where you were or what you were doing at this same moment of time but I guess this is all we have. Small pigments of time all squeezed together. And if we’re blessed enough, we get moments like these and realise even for a second the gravity of God’s love. There were no photo’s taken at the time and all I had available to me was the memory of this moment… The moment my heart burned. Print available. / Vector digital art created in illustrator.

  • This is just a quick reinterpretation of a friend’s scribble. Lord Foppington-Brown the Third of the Boston Foppinton-Browns is Skeletor in another reality and a totally different hat. This isn’t intended to make sense, it’s here for him. :^)

  • The Malvern Hills
    by AngelaBarnett

    US$4.99–US$133.00

The Beautifull Malvern Hills in the heart of England. Seen here looking North from British camp, an ancient Iron Age Hill fort , and reputed to be the inspiration for Tolkien’s Weather Top where Frodo is stabbed by the Nasgul’s blade. Taken late in May, just before sunset. The Victorian town of Great Malvern is nestled into the highest of the hills, and is famous for its natural mineral water springs and wells which run freely from the hillside. The Queen even drinks Malvern Water…...could Malvern have been Tolkien’s Rivendell?

  • Landscape of the Lord St. Malo outside of Estes Park, Colorado. One of thee most photographed Churches in all of North America, I was VERY excited and VERY anxious to get this shot when I headed up to Rocky Mountain National Park. I was hoping that the weather would clear because behind this, covered in the clouds, is Mt. Meeker and it is just a stunning view with the mountains! I have to admit though, I am really happy how this came out. And if anything, it is quite unique compared to how it is usually shot. I suppose that is a good thing when it comes to photographing something that is such an icon. Generally, people walk down by the pond and shoot from there, I stayed up top on the side of the road, thus giving a different perspective than most. Also, the weather. It was dramatic as all heck! You could smell the rain as it came in, dark, but with so much drama in the sky. I was pretty lucky to get a shot like this. Ya, I am happy with it! • And God Said...
    by amarica

    US$3.42–US$91.20

I was working with a combination of an image I got several years ago from a newspaper story about the shroud of Turin. The original image was very poor and I had to recreate the face using the newspaper image as a model. Then I worked with I worked with Micrografx, Photoshop and Apophysis to create the finished work. I experimented a little and got several works that I really like. I hope you enjoy them. Although we do not know what Christ really looked like because the Hebrew people did not draw or paint images of anyone because it was against their religion, we do have ideas we have formed based upon legend and theories that have been passed down through time and have become a generally accepted image that comes to mind when we think of Christ. I will be posting several that are part of this series and they are all enspired by scripture from the Holy Bible. This is the second of nine in the series. What I was amazed by is the same face looks so different when using a different overlay. It is so much like the many faces of God that we have come to know. Ge 1:20 / ¶ And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving / creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the / open firmament of heaven. • Lord of the Water
    by Jennifer Woodward

    US$5.04–US$134.52

Edited in Photoshop Elements. A layering technique was adopted to create the patterned background of this image. The stone face was also a separate image merged in. For the face to appear visable, I employed a low-level opaque background eraser brush to remove the centres of all the images apart from the stone face. I also used the same brush to remove other parts of the images used in this work to create different effects. Finally, to create the feel of water, I used various colour filters, colour burn and tweeked about with the hue. My other works, “Lord of the Fire”, “Lady of the Lake” and “Tranquil Beast” were all created in the same way. I had loads of fun with these!! Comments much appreciated! Jen :-)

  • Lord of the Rings River
    by Robert Mullner

    US$4.56–US$121.60

A few poeple have said this reminds them of the river scene in Lord of the Rings where the hobbits are hiding from those dark wraiths…! / Anyway, it’s another one from my Spring Creek collection from Far North Queensland. / A wild place off the tourist map this one..which is what I loved about it, no track, just making my way miles up this river to a waterfall I read about….thanks for looking…rgs, Rob.

  • Whenever I see a Mountain Lion now it reminds me of when I was being watched from the bushes while I was taking a pciture of a river near Silverton, Colorado while on my way to a ghost town by the name of Annimas Forks in 1996. / / I took a picture of the river, but wanted, movement in the water and needed my tripod, I went back to my vehicle to get it. When I turned to go back out and was about 15 feet from my vehicle I heard my wife Gen holler “Tim, don’t go out there, there is a cat watching you from the bushes”. / / My wife had been reading a book when our dog made a very quick move in the vehicle getting my wife’s attention, when she looked she just happen to see the mountain lion wtaching me from the bushes. / / The cat was there all the time when I was taking the first photo. He could have taken me down when I turned my back and left to get my tripod. / / After my wife told me there was a cat watching me I decided it might be best to leave the water movement photo go. I figured I might not be so lucky if I went out there again and invaded his area a second time. / / Who knows what could have happened when I turned my back to him the second time, that could have been it, I could have never got to my vehicle in time being about 50 yards from it. / / Better to look a Mountain Lion in the eye from this photo. / / (Viewing larger suggested) Hope you enjoyed the photo and the story, I will never forget the experience. /

  • Lord of the Rings
    by Robyn Carter

    US$3.71–US$98.80

This horse was used in the Lord of the Rings movie. I found hiim while I was out walking and was informed by my cousin that he is Brego…. There is a scene that they left out of the movie. i think it might be in the deleted scenes on the regular movie. But if you remember that King Theodens son dies , well Brego was his horse. Brego is actually in 2 scenes. but the scene im talking about is named “Brego” Its right before Gandalf and Pippin leave for Gondor, Aragorn is in the stable and there is this horse who is really agitated, and there are a few men trying to calm him. So Aragorn walks over and speaks to him in Elvish and the horse calms down magically. Eyowen sees this and says “His name is Brego, he was my cousins horse” Aragorn says “Brego , ((in elvish: your name is kingly)) Eyowen says “I’ve heard of the magic of Elves but would never expect to find it in a ranger from the north” Aragorn says “I was raised in Rivendale . . . for a time” and he lets Brego go saying that “he’s seen to much war for his time” or something like that, and you see him gallop off. The second time you see Brego is after the battle with the wolves of Isengard. When Aragorn falls into the river and then washes up on the bank , Arwen sends a horse to help him and he rides that horse to Helm’s Deep, well that horse was Brego , and if you listen Aragorn SAYS the word Brego! So thats where the horse came from.
