Love black and white stuff….but I couldn’t help but add a little bit of color. I’m currently studying for my MCATs so I haven’t had much time to do art. I kept seeing this picture in my head though. Couldn’t help but scratch it out one night. I hope you like this! :P

It’s funny how opportunistic photos happen. I was in an old movie theater in a small town and had to use the bathroom. This bathrrom had B&W vintage photos of old movie stars wallpapered all over the bathroom. I was at the urinal (peeing)...and there was a plant on top with Vivian Leigh (Scarlett) peeking at me. I had to make the “Splendor In The Grass” moment last longer…so I took this photo immediately. (...at least I think it’s Vivian Leigh).

A young baboon and its mother. Taken in the Masai Mara, Kenya, this young baboon was quite shy at first. After a while he lept up on to his mothers back and rode away, gazing back at me. The light at the time was very harsh, but this treatment in photoshop seems to have given the shot more depth. I used a ruler for the iris lines (because there’s no way I could get lines that straight freehand). I then added blue to the Iris and started a blue eye breeding program in photoshop :D / So here’s a very unique, different, weird and wonderful poster that will be watching you at all times :D / FEATURED in Freedom to Shine Group

Mama bear and her cubs had been run up a tree by a very aggressive male. I wish I had got a shot of him but was movin to quick for the low light in the woods. The bear seemed more abundant in the Cove this year. Bears are wild animals and should be treated with respect. The large male wasn’t too tolerable of anything, and could have attacked at any moment. You may see a dozen bears in the Cove that pay you no mind, but it just takes one like the aggressive male to kill you. The day I made this I had seen 11 different bear….Black Bear, ursus americanus… ….Shot was taken in Cades Cove area of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park
