Looking up at El Capitan. Standing at the base of this grand mountain in Yosemite so close I can almost touch the rocks. Granite strength in all its splendor. Like some gigantic dinosaur with a square head, it stands mighty like it is ready to take off. I drove around early that morning seeing this famous feature from far away only to take the loop road in the valley and end up driving up right next to it. It was so awesome I had to pull over and take a few shots. When I was done I just stared at it.
