Old toilets in Thornseat Lodge, definitely out of order
A battered old washing machine found in what used to be the laundry room at Thornseat Lodge, the roof has completely gone in this part of the old Lodge
An old toilet seat and half a sink in the toilet of Thornseat Lodge, i like the way the sink is still half full of water! /
The front of Thornseat Lodge, it was a beautiful old place, who knows what lies in store for it now, i wish i could rescue it.
Not really running late….... just desperate to find a loo!
A heiau is a Hawaiian temple. At least nine types of heiau existed, including heiau for treating the sick, for offering first fruits, for offering first catch, for offerings to start rain, or to stop rain, for human sacrifice and for success in war. Some consisted of simple earth terraces, while others were elaborately constructed stone platforms. / / !ORIGINAL AVAILABLE FOR SALE

Probably the world’s most expensive public toilet, the $2.5 million Loo With A View on the beachfront at Mooloolaba. The Mooloolaba esplanade is a popular walk with numerous cafes, restaurants and eateries along the way.

I was looking at / JimCaldwells“ / photo in his files of an outhouse [toilet ]we Aussies mentioned we [impolitely ]called them Dunnies I just did a watercolour sketch to go with the words.. OUTSIDE DUNNY I have to go Defiantly have to Outside in the black Down the ramp that runs from the back door from the house. The light shines to the end of the ramp, after that, blackness I can make out the white narrow concrete path Past the shed, running now, past the doorway with the dark opening, maybe in there? Then the wood pile, maybe it’s lurking there, maybe in the shed Maybe in the dunny, it’s dark I know it’s clean, no spiders are allowed to live here She sees to that, cleanliness is most important Not the eyes of a frightened child. / Watercolour on Arches A4 size medium
