  Longwood Gardens is located 3 miles northeast of Kennett Square, PA. The land for the gardens was purchased by Pierre S. du Pont 1906 to save its trees from being cut for lumber. Over the next nearly half century, Mr. du Pont developed Longwood Gardens into a magnificent garden and horticultural showplace, which now encompasses 1,050 acres of gardens, woodlands, and meadows. This calendar showcases some of the excellent plants and flowers you might see if you visited the gardens. The calendar contains work of Mary Campbell a visual artist, photographer and poet.
