One of my most Favourite Songs. So touching, and remorseful. So haunting!! If only …... Watch and Listen here / Play It Loud if only tonight we could sleep / in a bed made of flowers / if only tonight we could fall / in a deathless spell / if only tonight we could slide / into deep black water / and breathe / and breathe… then an angel would come / with burning eyes like stars / and bury us deep / in his velvet arms and the rain would cry / as our faces slipped away / and the rain would cry don’t let it end… The Cure

I realize this picture isn’t clear but there is something I have always loved about it and it is actually my screen saver. Maybe it’s because I find it looks like a painting…..I’m not sure but I’m putting it on here just in case others feel the same way and would like to enjoy it.
I emptied the crumbs from the loaf of bread into the water, the birds gobbled it up greedily. I put the empty packet into the rubbish bin and watched the ducks eating…..... and took a few last snaps, my memory card was full. I fished in my handbag for another one and changed them over….... I looked up and all the ducks had drifted off and all that was left was the lone feather floating on the surface of the pond…....................
Blown-out beach ball on the beach at dawn.

Sunset on the beach.
Lonely sunbathing bed on the beach at sunset.
Lonely silhouette of a walking girl on the beach at sunset.
Taken at Durras Beach in Southern NSW. It was officially stupid o’clock…I woke just as the sun was rising threw some clothes on…grabbed my camera bag and raced down to the beach. When I arrived I realised I had my jumper on back to front and inside out and my thongs were on the wrong feet…but there was no time to fix them as I had to set up! Finally I was able to relax and watch the sun come up happily clicking away until I spotted a couple of fishermen smirkiing at me! I quickly fixed my top to their amusement and then struck up a conversation with them as they pulled in fish after fish. Moral to the story: set your alarm! This watercolour piece represents my state of personal reflection. We are constantly tied up with millions of thoughts, emotions, responsibilities and choices. We have a jug which contains water… and when empty we should go back to The Well to be nourished again and to nourish others. But how often do we go back to The Well… which holds so much treasure and hope. And how many times do we wither away too far to realise this. Here is part of me for you.
