Hello everybody. Just wanted to check in and let you know I am still around. My family and I moved from Ohio to Kentucky in July, and I have not managed to get back in the swing of things since we constantly have unexpected issues coming up, and I am still trying to get into a routine. Anyways, I wanted to share something with you. As anybody who knows me, I am inspired by photo manipulation. On a couple of stock photo sites, I also sell unedited photogrpahy. I was amazed to find that somebody purchased a photo of my little girl and created an AMAZING and CAPTIVATING piece with this photo. The thing that really touched me is that with all the photo art compostions and photo editing I do, it would have never occured to me to create something like this from this photo. Hi All!! Yeap, i’ve been quiet after uploading Kenny by the Beach.. Eheh.. I’ve been working on trying to get my very own stall/cart/pushcart here Thanks to the ever helpful and caring and resourceful, Karin, i manage to get some numbers i can call, instead of just emailing whatever email i can find.. and finally this week, i called and managed to get into contact with some of them.. FINALLY!!! XD Now am working on taking pix of the things am going to sell at the booth, and cleaning up the pix.. makes me wish i have a mannequin to fit them on or a model or something.. i end up just laying them down on a big blue sarong and taking pic.. i think i can hear Ellen giggling now.. XD / then there’s some freelance project that’s coming in.. as much as i’d like to do more drawings, am afraid my wallet’s getting anorexia.. XD so i guess i need to start feeding it a bit.. hehe.. So yea, basically just wanna say, i’m really thankful for all the lovely responses i’ve been getting over at my Facebook page, with regards to my new profile picture there. So much so, i just worked on creating a print version and uploaded it to Zazzle yesterday.. and for the first time ever, SilentCries got a TBA!!!! I just had a moment, thinking that we are so busy making our Christmas preparations.. / Wrapping presents, ordering our turkey or whatever special meal we are preparing, filling out cards and decorating our homes for these festive days. In our rush to prepare for this elaborate celebration, we sometimes forgot the people who may not have any family to spend Christmas with, but spend it alone in their home. No presents to unwrap or share a Christmas hug with loved ones. Many can not afford to celebrate Christmas, as they just do not have any money to spend on elaborate Turkey meals and expensive decorations, but just have enough money for a little food and pay the fuel for their heating. People who suffer a life threatening or even a terminal illness, who may not even survive this Christmas, or people who look after someone like that. These may even be people here on Redbubble, with whom we exchange comments and journals, who display their beautiful art and wishing us joy and happiness. Who cheer us up with their good humour, despite hardship, throughout the year. Let us at least give them some thought and love on that day. If we suspect that someone may belong to the lonely, ill or poor here on RB, maybe we should, take some time out, more than just a prayer, on Christmas Day and give them some Christmas cheer by saying HI, or make them a gift by buying some art from them.
