I emptied the crumbs from the loaf of bread into the water, the birds gobbled it up greedily. I put the empty packet into the rubbish bin and watched the ducks eating…..... and took a few last snaps, my memory card was full. I fished in my handbag for another one and changed them over….... I looked up and all the ducks had drifted off and all that was left was the lone feather floating on the surface of the pond…....................

This is the last lonely little rosebud left on my rosebush, so I captured it to share with all the lovely Red Bubblers. This little bush struggles to survive in a small garden dominated by a japanese maple and full of too many ferns and weeds. / It was planted by the previous owners as a memorial to a lost baby. Hope you appreciate its efforts to survive. / Also available as a tshirt /

So here’s an image (or two!) I took today, on a lovely day out to Dovedale with Steve (check out his work, it’s fab!) / I had no idea we walked so far, the day seemed to be gone in a flash! / Definitely could have done Thorpe Cloud if time hadn’t got in the way! Mind you, I might have had to be carried down the mountain on the way back! / This image is a composition of two shots (sky and land) merged with effects created in photoshop CS2.

This is a horse that I visited often while living in upstate NY in the Hudson Valley. There was a beautiful thoroughbred horse farm very near to my house and these guys were so cool to visit. I miss them… not NY…lol. I took a few different photos from my short stay in NY and blended them together to make the memory last. All images used were my own. No stock images used. [ ]
