My entry for the London Calling challenge. I found this difficult as I’ve never been to London to get a real ‘feel’ for the place, but here’s my two-cents worth: I have given a big nod towards graffiti/street art with the general style of the piece (line work, spray marks and drips) the London skyline gets a look in I couldn’t resist the CCTV camera robot (paranoid android?) with London having over 100 000 cameras throughout the city and finally I’ve included a large rain cloud in reference to the grey, overcast and generally miserable weather. I can’t decide on a colour – according to the challenge we should have one colour option for the shirt – so feel free to let me know what colour you think works best :) Detail: /
Title is from the song London Calling by the Clash. I cut and glued an old map (of london) on to the outlines of parliament, and added some digital things as well.
Featured t-shirt / My entry for the London Calling Challenge. Thanks everyone who voted & supported this work. / inspiration came through listening…Joy Division, New Order, A Flock of Seagulls, Morrissey, Radiohead, Depeche Mode, The Clash, The James, The Stone Roses… Poster version /
My first t-shirt design using one of my most popular photographs. This image of a classic London telephone box was taken near the Embankment tube stop. I removed all the color in the image and then by hand brushed the B&W layer away exposing just the vivid spot color of the red booth using photoshop. My best selling image now available as a t-shirt design! More photos from Britain
This design came 3RD in the London calling Competition Thanks to everyone who voted for me! Many thanks / Toastedghost / X / . / . / / . / . / .
My entry for ‘This Is London Calling’ challenge. Bring back the red box! Credit must be given to Rick Harris whose brilliant photo I used as reference for this design. Thanks to everyone who voted for this design – it made the top eight. Cheers! Some of my other tees:

Its a little 80’s in its styling, but hey…thats what all the cool kids are wearing these days! hehe… *Contains one part hearse and a second part Hirst…and voila! Besides the big DH has such an obsession with death i’m surprised he hasn’t made one of these himself.
Battersea Battle / This features one of my favourite London buildings – Battersea Power Station. It also celebrates the thriving urban art movement of the capital city. Process and detail: / / The t-shirt: /

This was taken walking along the bridge from Embankment to Waterloo. I’ve walked over many times and never had my camera with me. luckily this time I did, it was a fairly cold early December afternoon and the sky was fantastic.

Everyones doing it! my submission for the London Calling challange :D / i was looking through a bunch of demo’s product,( 12 grain stuff is awsome!! ) and this is what came forth after a brain fart explosion. xD
When I think of England my mind goes straight to the days of corseted, uptight, tea drinking, society climbing women and their frigid men…. (think I read too many Jane Austin books in my youth) This is my version of that day for us to wear without the pain of it! For this White for the lovely SoxyFlemming!
I decided to change the design because I felt the original did not tell enough of a story.. The Story… In our modern fast paced world, we need to do all we can to attract “shoppers” into our stalls. Countries are no different I guess. So sometimes tradition and decorum must be sacrificed to the advertising Gods. Sergeant UgeLipz, of the Queens Guards unwrapped his favourite Cuban Cigar, and, in front of the Palace, did the unthinkable and called the world to London. :) I really am anti-smoking, but the image appealed to me too much, so I had to do it. :)
