A street photography shot of urban art on an East London street in 2007
A street photography shot taken in East London 2007. I went back there recently and this image has been completely painted over. I’m glad I was able to capture what was a brief yet beautiful scene that has now gone forever
Thanks to Ronya once again for the title idea Wall art by Shepard Fairy AKA Obey
This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. Recently cut stencil with one layer from an older stencil of a zebra in pink on her dress, with hand drawn cobbled stones. The canvas itself is 3 times in length this is just a mere snap shot of the original piece. This piece is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. The other is ‘snow and umbrella’ and ‘rain birds’

Sometimes you just can’t script these sort of photos. I’d taken a couple of the empty footpath featuring just the door with the chalk writing. Then, out of nowhere, people with suitcases! Awesome 8) Location: Drury Lane, London.
evereddy © 2008 Shoreditch , East London , 2008 This image has been nominated for the prestigous Pay it Forward Group, by Tainia Finlay and this is what she very kindly had to say about it… “I love this not only for the colour but also the feeling of times past, taken in Shoreditch, London. This building has withstood two world wars and could say so much about life over the years in that part of London. Umbra has a unique way of illustrating candid street life in London. One of my favourite artists on RB.” Thanks so much Tai :))

Another quick capture tonight, from work to the tube, just as the night was falling around 5:30pm. These are the lights on the South Bank of the river Thames, close to Waterloo bridge. To me, the varying size of the lights on the picture and the slight curve of the layout, like just like a string of pearls.
