I have taken this self portrait of myself in the hub of truck wheel. I thought i could try and look at myself. line up my camera and judge the end of the lens, and well hope for the best.

I think this is a little warbler, but I’m not certain. Whatever the case, it joined a flock of goldfinch on Christmas Day and was the only one that showed any interest in the suet log. I love its spikey little legs and tiny sharp talons. If anyone can help me identify this bird, I’d appreciate it. I checked the Audubon Field Guide to North American Birds, but nothing matches it perfectly.

“This log house which originally stood on the Gardeau Flats by the Genesee river was built about 1800 by Mary Jemison. “The White Woman of the Genesee.” For her second daughter, Nancy. In a nearby cabin, also built by her. SHe lived about 35 years. This little log cabin is only about 10×10 and sits where Isabelle meets 95th in Erie Colorado. It is in it’s perfect little spot under that big old tree. This is a llama farm and I was hoping that they would pass by so I could get them in the picture too. But no such luck! /
